like how we can be a 12% or something favorite to beat bama, but we haven't lost to them at home since 2015. and since 2011, we are 3-2 against them at home. underdog of the decade maybe even century, Auburn plays so well together when its late night, late season, high risk games, its magic to watch, especially at Jordan-Hare! WDE!

You can tell how much Kirk liked this game, you can hear him say "Ohh!!!!" Multiple times when a play happens. This was just one of the best and fun games I've ever watched as a fan.

Mad respect for Oregon 👊 they gave Auburn everything they had and almost closed out on what would've been a huge win against an SEC team, even though Auburn had an average season in 2019. Loved seeing my tigers fight and claw until the very end and make big plays when necessary. Oregon ended up winning the pack 12 and the Rose Bowl. Little did Auburn know, that was probably they're best victory of the year, aside from beating Bama in a thriller. War Eagle 🦅
Auburn had wins over Oregon and Alabama, both of whom finished ranked in the Top 10. And everyone they lost to (LSU, Florida, Georgia, & Minnesota) also finished in the Top 10. I wouldn't call that average.

@@justintaylor3336 i think if bo nix was a half decent qb that year auburn would’ve been a massive threat in the grand scheme of things. auburn won all those games bc of their defense. i mean holding lsu to 23 was some accomplishment for that year. the defense was still developing around then(later in the season they became elite) and they only put up 20 with seth williams and anthony schwartz at receiver. pretty sure the rb was pretty good too. so they had great skill positions and prob the best defense in the nation that year but the bo nix kinda threw it all away
They had the second hardest schedule and had chance to win all of those

The ducks had everything in this game to win multiple interceptions and good lead they gave auburn to many chances from the missed field goal, the fumble ,and not doing anything in the 4th quarter. Bo nix didn’t even play his best game and still got the win Oregon has to find a way to close out games

Great way to start the season
I attended this game ,was so excited to go.Had a great time except for the loss.
The first game that Bo Nix started in college was against an Oregon Ducks team that was being headlined by Justin Herbert. He then goes on to help orchestrate an insane comeback win against said Oregon team, while wearing the blue and orange of Auburn, goes on to eventually transfer to Oregon three years down the line, becomes the NCAA’s all-time leader in games started, and in doing so, becomes arguably an even more successful Oregon quarterback than Justin Herbert was, and now he’ll be facing Justin Herbert twice a year, while wearing the blue and orange of the Denver Broncos. It’s crazy how time flies in a little less than half-a-decade. It almost feels like it was meant to be….
I mean Herbert finished his last 2 years beating Washington and winning a conf title and Rose Bowl, which he was the MVP in. Both were great, just both had completely different offensive schemes. I loved the Broncos getting Franklin to go with Nix. I think people slept on Franklin b/c they play on the west coast, that dude is consistently lethal.

Not sure why this was recommended years later, but fun watch! Crazy think that Herbert would go on to tear up the NFL and Nix wouldn't even finish his career at Auburn.

I enjoyed the 2019 tigers. We won some barnburners that year and lost some barnburners but that year we had so many tight hard fought physical games. Won the oregon, and bama game and lost the lsu and uga game. All 4 were great games to be at.

a dropped td and a missed fg right after. make either of those and oregon wins. not to mention the fumbled snap going in to score. auburn is fortunate that it didnt get ugly early on. I think this game made auburn a lot better because they gained so much confidence in the win. oregon needs better offensive play calling - you need a killer instinct on offense to win these games and oregon doesnt have that. its the next step for them.

first ever football game i went to, we were dominating till the end, and the fact we almost scored before the time was up, like me and my dad went down to look for a shirt that a lot of fans were wearing (the duck in front of the texas outline) during halftime, the game had started back up but we werent worried at that point, so we didnt get back to our spot till abut half way during 3rd qtr, one thing about the auburn fans that were there, they were cheering even if the play was meh, they werent getting quite, even though my first live game was a loss, it was great, and good comeback auburn, we kinda let it slip
also can someone explain the whole tiger and war eagle, do yall just have 2 mascots or what

As an Auburn fan, I just don't think Bo Nix is a great QB, his stats just aren't there and he doesn't have the playmaking ability Auburn needs. Nick Marshall was one of the best QBs Auburn has had after Cam Newton, Sullivan, and Campbell.

Honestly Herbert outplayed nix 3 quarters but once Auburn gained a little defensive moment that oline got pressured and the difference became clear, herberts bad under pressure while nix was able to compose himself 4th quarter

HOW did Oregon not win this game...
Clearly, Oregon was the better team that day and Oregon should have won. If Oregon hadn't blown a 21-6 lead and was able to defeat Auburn, then they might have had a shot at the playoffs. Say Oregon's only loss was to Arizona State had Oregon entered the Pac-12 Championship 11-1 and finished their season with an impressive win over Utah that would have put Oregon at 12-1. Maybe Oregon would have made the playoff this last season.
