Mike, I appreciate your videos as I always learn something new from you: question: I have the mold growth in the underside of the attic sheathing. Should I use the concrobium in a cold sprayer and hand apply, as you did, or, place the unit in the attic and turn on to mist for 1/2 hour? Is using a garden sprayer a reasonable method? Last, are you familiar with the RMR products? Thank you kindly!
They don't typically answer on products they don't sell. RMR is the go-to now for professionals. RMR 141 is EPA registered and also used in hospitals. FYI
If i use a face mask to disinfect homes with a fogger how often should i change filters on the mask? Can i use the same one all day or change it out everytime i go to a different home?
Hi Rachel, for the P-series particulate filters, 3M recommends replacing the filters when it becomes more difficult to breathe easily, it becomes dirty or damaged, or after no more than 8 hours of use or after 200 mg loading. You can learn more at 3M.com/filterchange/.
BriizCustoms - Mildewcides are added to foggers (aka "bombs") so that the mist can spread everywhere. Multiple treatments may be required. Thanks for watching and we hope you have a happy & blessed weekend.
Can I use a fogger to kill mold in my crawlspace or do I need to wet each floor joist, e.g., with a sprayer using a mold killer and then soda blast each floor joist?
Our home is cinderblock built 1946 It has a musty smell when it rains or is humid. Would this be what I need Oh we have a crawl space. And is not vented Is that the problem? Hope you have some good advise for me!
Based on what you have told us and without being able to conduct a proper inspection, We would start with your crawl space and see if you need to dry it out with a dehumidifier. Also determine whether the crawl space is taking on water, after those two things are address you can search for mold and address it with the fogger. Hope this helps!
Can i use this solution in any fog machine? There are spores in my apartment no matter how much I clean the mold comes back. The scent is on everything. Please help!
If using in a 4ft crawl space, can you just set it stationary and let it go or do you have to walk it around pointing it everywhere you want to apply it?
GREAT question Branden! The Anabec mold products do require waiting 4 hours after applying to return to the area, living space. Yes, we recommend highly to brush off where the mold was visible and to HEPPA vacuum
Was it cleaned properly from your previous use? It could be clogged. If you purchased from our DIY store you can contact our customer service and they can help you get in touch with the manufacturer if needed.
Hello,Thanks for the video. What about using in a restaurant? Can I fog the kitchen as well or should I seal off the kitchen and only do the dining area only?
I want to fog my HVAC with Concrobium. But my coil is in a metal case that is only 1 inch away from the cabinet. How do I introduce the fog into the HVAC enough that it pulls it all through the system with all the vents closed but the furthest away, when the only time I get any air suction is when the filter is in place? I would be SO GRATEFUL if you could tell me what I should do. We are pretty desperate here.
Try closing all registers but the furthest one. Attach a fan to suck air out of that register and have it directed out a window. Then take out the filter and fog through the return where the filter is. This is how most mold companies handle this kind of situation. Hope this helps!
@@CrawlSpaceNinja That's really great advice, thanks. Two questions, you sell a silver bullet-type tri-ject fogger on your site for like $259. Does that work as effectively as the Concrobium fogger does? I recently bought a blue plastic 'fogger' but it only sprayed out liquid, not fog. Also, I've been told that, once the Concrobium has dried and killed the mold and you turn the HVAC back on again, it will blow out the Concrobium particulates into the air and that can be harmful for you to breathe. Do you think that's true? If so, what can I do to limit that effectively? Thanks so much for your awesome help and company!!!
@@virtualgrace251 At this moment we're not sure when the Createch Commander will be back in stock, and we have not had any experience with the Concrobium foggers. We do have this available that is a little more pricy but we use on all of our mold remediation jobs: diy.crawlspaceninja.com/product/mold-fogger-ulv-commercial-max/. Not too sure about the particulates, if you're worried about it we'd recommend having your ducts cleaned after fogging.
@@CrawlSpaceNinja Is there a way I can call you about this? I've recently rented a tri-jet, silver bullet-type fogger from Home Depot to do this, and I closed off and plastic bagged all the vents but the further away. I tried putting a hole in the filter covering the opening to my HVAC to increase the air suction and pull the stuff inside. But this 'fogger' just seems to put out fine spray. If I put my hand in front of it, it's soaking wet. My memory of using Concrobium fogger before was that it was actual dryish fog that would fog up a whole room and would get into the entire venting. I sat soaking my HVAC with this fogger for 30 minutes and all I think I did was get this stuff all up in my HVAC. None of the vents had any moisture at all. Not even the ones right next to it. I'm trying to figure out if I have to have a Concrobium fogger. Or if I just did something wrong. I'm so frustrated. I hope you can help me.
@@virtualgrace251 Did you have a fan at the furthest register to help pull the air through the system? You may have to do it for each register if you're having trouble getting it into adjacent the ductwork. I would check with Home Depot to make sure the fogger is working correctly if you feel it's not creating a true fog.
Remember babies also crawl across floors and lick their hands a lot, if anyone is looking to get into mold remediation a dead mold spore it's just as toxic as a live don't worry about killing it remove it with HEPA filters. The best mold remediation companies I work with don't even fog they simply clean ceiling walls and floors using a HEPA sandwich cleaning.
Very true, make sure you clean all surfaces regularly. Mold is always entering our environment so even after a proper remediation it can be reintroduced by simply opening doors and windows. Good housekeeping is essential.
i want to somehow turn off gas to home and run furnace fan while fogging to clean vents that are also contianmenated can i do this anyone?????????????????????????
My apologies I do not understand your question but this only took a few hours to do and some products claim to stay on the surfaces for many years is that what you're asking?
Let us know how you would use the fogger!
I use a diferent fogger. I use the thermal fogger for disinfecting like ( last minutes) this th-cam.com/video/qbLZ-UucOIY/w-d-xo.html
After applying the anasphere or the cleaner do you have to run a whole house dehumidifier
Is the fogger safe on electronics? Can I run it with the hvac on so it cleans the hvac
Excellent Michael. Great explanation and very useful. We are looking for it. Thank you so much.pleaese make more videos like this.
Thanks, will do!
What do you use to neutralize mycotoxins?
We don't specifically have a mycotoxin remover except addressing mold (remove source) and ventilate.

Thank you for watching!
Is this more of a mist or an actual fog
How does the spray impact carpet?
Like to know particle size and level of sound?

the fogging itself is actually quite loud right, 4:10-4:30
It is a bit loud yes,
Can this be used in a RV? Had a leak and it’s old and smells a little musty, don’t see any mold but I just wanna be safe.
BriizCustoms - Mildewcides are added to foggers (aka "bombs") so that the mist can spread everywhere. Multiple treatments may be required. Thanks for watching and we hope you have a happy & blessed weekend.
Why not just use the anasphere in the crawlspace if it kills mold and is safer then anabek
Can I use a fogger to kill mold in my crawlspace or do I need to wet each floor joist, e.g., with a sprayer using a mold killer and then soda blast each floor joist?
Yes, you can use a fogger. You will want to do that after soda blasting.
How is the particle size of the droplets? And how much the Decibel nosie level?
7- 30 micron VMD but we dont have decibel levels.

It is best to do the research. There is tons of products out there but research is best so you don't waste money.
If using in a 4ft crawl space, can you just set it stationary and let it go or do you have to walk it around pointing it everywhere you want to apply it?
4ft high crawl space? If you have a large floor space it would help to move it around to get to all the areas.
After fogging a home, how long should the residents wait to come back in? Also, would you have to wipe anything down in the home afterwards?
GREAT question Branden! The Anabec mold products do require waiting 4 hours after applying to return to the area, living space. Yes, we recommend highly to brush off where the mold was visible and to HEPPA vacuum
does anything have to be wiped down after and how long before people can return to the room?
No we did not have to wipe things down.
I don't see any fog/most coming out of mine. What can I be doing wrong?
Was it cleaned properly from your previous use? It could be clogged. If you purchased from our DIY store you can contact our customer service and they can help you get in touch with the manufacturer if needed.
What's the name of the two product you mention, for crawl space and for office space?
Anasspere and anabec ... diy.crawlspaceninja.com/product/anasphere-plus/
Good stuff bud! Does the fogger heat up the liquid?
No it does not.
Hello,Thanks for the video. What about using in a restaurant? Can I fog the kitchen as well or should I seal off the kitchen and only do the dining area only?
you are able to use it...
How long after using the fogger like in a church sanctuary can they return back in the sanctuary. Do the fabric chairs dry fairly quickly. Thanks
4 to 8 hrs.

Nice tips!!! Like your fogger!
Thank you!

By the way... put your extention cord in your store too!!! Everyone needs an electrical extension cord! why not?
We will see what we can do!

Thanks for the input!
Wow a video about using a Fogger, without any video of fogging. Now that's really something. Thumbs down, no subscribe.
Thanks for the feedback! the actual fogging starts around 4 minutes tho. we will use your feedback for future videos!
You should work backwards
