How long does a spray fog like this last?? Length wise. Days, Weeks, Months?? Ps, I currently work at a child care center and I personally have been on Sanitizing duty.. I am Admiring this fogger gun.
I'm answering this for whoever may be looking... Vital Oxide is safe and it's said to last 7 days. But...if you have children... runny noses, face touching, dirty Rugrats (lol I'm kidding of course! 🤭) You need to disinfect after it is touched. As a daycare I assume you clean your areas AFTER the kids leave? You would just spray this after you've cleaned. For areas that don't need wiped down daily (like maybe coat/shoe areas) you can just spray. (And for anyone reading this) It's good to remember, Vital Oxide will not disinfect dirty grimy surfaces. They MUST be cleaned first! Stay Safe & God Bless!
I want to elaborate on this answer. So say there are germs on the tables after lunch at your daycare. You wash the tables, but there are still germs & say possibly one of the kids has a virus. Once you spray the Vital Oxide, the germs & virus are defeated. Gone. So you're working with a clean slate. From that moment going forward it is disinfected for 7 days. I would say imagine a 7 day weekend at your daycare. No kids touching it. It would keep it disinfected up to 7 days where they could come back & sit at a disinfected table. UNTIL THEY COME AND REINFECT IT. (just even by touching it with dirty hands) I hope that help explain it better.
what kind of disinfectant did you use in your sprayer? Does it use a special kind of cleaner or can we buy a disinfectant from Home Depot? also if it's a disinfectant is it safe to spray on the toys without wiping the toys down after?
If so, the area should be cleaned before spraying. Vital Oxide will discharge parts of any organics it treats if they are not cleaned first. All Disinfection requires manual cleaning before any application of a disinfectant.

This video was made at least 2 years ago - well before Covid. The disinfectant is called Vital Oxide and is very safe. We use it in the office multiple times a day with no problems. It is not an a skin or inhalation irritant, is non-toxic (drink a glass of water if ingested), and is a mild eye irritant (flush with water after direct contact).
