Pigeon Forge! Frizzle Chicken Cafe, Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride, Incredible Christmas Place, Brewery

- Join us for a fun summer trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, checking out some new places we haven't been before, and revisiting some favorites for an updated visit in summer 2023 - including Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse Cafe, Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride, Smoky Mountain Brewery, and the Incredible Christmas Place! We have lunch at Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse Cafe, a restaurant featuring approximately 100 chickens, with a full chorus of animatronic chickens that sing, or rather cluck, popular songs every 20 minutes! The chickens are all named after celebrities and musicians and we had such a fun and delicious lunch at this place for our first time there! We also walk down Pigeon Forge Parkway and visit an old favorite, the Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride, a roadside attraction stand alone dark ride boat ride filled with animatronic dinosaurs. It's somewhere between scary, whacky, weird and fun. We also visited The Incredible Christmas Place, an unbelievable store filled with rooms and rooms of Christmas decor, theming and more, of every imaginable type, and we also got to MEET SANTA CLAUS, and we get a code orange and see some of the first Halloween 2023 merchandise I've seen this year so far, amazing Christmas and Halloween villages, just so so much!!! But first we grabbed some local craft beer at Smoky Mountain Brewery and cooled off from the summer heat. We also had a quick look in Stages West, a western clothing store with over 10,000 boots, family run for over 40 years in Pigeon Forge!

If you love this Christmas store, you’ve got to see Bronner’s in Frankenmuth, MI! It’s the largest one in the world!

I love that you guys are making Pigeon Forge a tradition! I never get tired of seeing you two travel though Tennessee, it's such a beautiful state! I had to laugh at the pumpkin and skeleton swing on those swings, I never seen that before lol. I wish I had the space to have a Halloween and Christmas display like the one you showed in the Christmas Store! It was so detailed and beautiful!

Thanks to Jackie She is open and gives us the real low down on attractions. You would feel jipped and angry if a person who is used to elaborate gets a more homey less sophisticated;but pricy attraction. I is good to know the cost and what it is first. As always thanks Jackie!

Just got back from Pigeon Forge. Saw a bear and a baby cub at Cades Cove! Did Dolly Partons Stampede again. Great dinner show. We are gonna do the Pirates show on our next visit!
There was a line outside of Jarasic Jungle every day we were there. I guess some people have never been to Disney World 😁.
Frizzle Chicken was super cool with all those nifty animatronic chickens doing a show!!! Looks too cool!!! Loved the Jurassic Jungle Ride as well!!! You are very lucky to get to go all these magnificent places and thank you for taking us with you!!!!
I've always wanted to try that Frizzle restaurant, but I'm too chicken. I didn't think Publix existed that far north. I'm so happy now lol Pigeon Forge looks so awesome. Love the mountains
Great video from our backyard Jackie. The comedy barn is a great show. Take a look at the Christmas resort it is beautiful on every floor. Santa is in the lobby a lot and puts on a show himself. Can't wait to see the rest of these videos. You guys rock.

Awesome video Jackie!! I loved it!! The restaurant looks really cool. I love how the chickens start singing songs!! The children sandwich looked really good!! that was nice that you guys just got to walk around outside and go to different places!! The Jurassic ride looks fun!! I love the Christmas store. It’s so cute and I love all the different color combinations of Christmas stuff!! it would be really cool to have a Harry Potter Christmas theme!! I love how you got so excited when you saw all the Halloween stuff especially the ones on display!! Thanks again for a great video! Thanks to you we enjoyed our visit at Margaritaville in Gatlinburg last Sunday before we headed home! We were just in the area last week and love it as much as you guys do! We love cheesy attractions to, so it’s fun watching the places you visit! We recommend trying the Gatlin mirror maze at the Island, we did it last week and it was fun. Also any Gatlin escape game, we did Haunting of Hyde House to prep for HHN and highly recommend it. It’s creepy but so fun. Also, we highly recommend Local Goat - their bread pudding and fried deviled eggs are legit amazing! We’ve really never had anything bad there. Also, I think you guys would love Zorbing and the Guy Fieri Downtown Flavortown. If you love donuts and are in Gatlinburg make sure to try the Donut Friar! Have fun!

The chicken restaurant was charming. There is something about the moving around that the chickens and that the dinosaur’s do that is so cool. I always enjoy seeing Christmas stores that are open year around and I was also going to suggest Bronner’s Christmas Store and Frankemuth. Both very fun places to visit. Also there is a big candle shop. I remember your saying you liked Candles. This is in a different state.

Same here, they close at 1pm and they used to have random hours so we never caught it when it was open until now. The food really was good and the chickens are so fun!

When I saw that you guys were on the road, I was hoping you were going to Pigeon Forge! I lived near Pigeon Forge for 20 years before moving down to Orlando last year, and always watched your videos when I missed Orlando. Now that you guys are going up to Pigeon Forge more, I can watch your videos when I miss that, too! Pigeon Forge was the closest thing I had up there to theme parks and tourism, so this is so sentimental. Keep these videos and trips coming ❤️❤️

That Christmas ⛄🎄 Place was awesome!!!!! It was like being in a magical world!!! Bronner's IS the best world famous Christmas 🎄⛄ collection in Frankenmuth, Michigan n it has been there for more than 50 yrs. My sister's n I are going there in August on our Sister's Vacation again this year, as we did last year, n I am really getting excited, especially after seeing that Pigeon Forge Christmas ⛄🎄 Place Store!!!!! Excellent video just walking up n down the main street and checking out all the various roadside attractions, which we also love in our family!!!!

I love the Christmas Place. We always going during football season and we stay in that hotel right next door to Christmas Place. Hubby watches football and I walk over and spend time just walking around in CP. love it.

Definitely try the Apple Barn restaurant. Great breakfast food and delicious dinner. Plus a winery, cider mill, candy factory, ice cream and dessert shop and lots of little shops in general. Wonderful place off the main strip! Big Daddy's is a great place for pizza as well! JT Hannah's is wonderful for lunch and dinner too and has a cool history behind it.

Just heard about the chicken place and then your video dropped and I got to enjoy and learn about it this morning. I apologize if you showcased in once of your previous Dollywood videos - I highly recommend the AWESOME show Dreamland Drive-in at the Pines Theater 👍👍❤️ When I entered the park and saw the sign for Coaster enthusiasts, I immediately thought of you and saw that you were in Georgia and was keeping an eye out for y’all in TN! Excited to see and hear what you thought of Big Bear 🐻 I liked it - rode and enjoyed all the coasters except Thunderhead which I didn’t ride yet, will have to go back tomorrow or another day before we leave and ride it! My fav coaster was Thunderbolt! Cheers to summer fun 🥳

Frizzle Chicken's breakfast is my top fave in PF, I enjoy it more than the tons of pancake houses the area has. They are owned by the same company as Comedy Barn, Stampede and Hatfield McCoy dinner show

How did I not know the Christmas Store had a Halloween section??? I’m definitely visiting on Saturday. Since Elvira has a section, FYI, that street you crossed between Smoky Mountain Brewery and the Christmas Store (Wears Valley) has a local place called Elvira’s Cafe that is excellent. It’s about 15 mins out and not Elvira Mistress of the Dark themed but delicious

Bronner's is the world's largest year-round Christmas store, covering 2.2 acres (1.7 football fields). Beautifully landscaped grounds cover 27 acres, with 7.35 acres (5.5 football fields) of building in Bronner's entire complex. Three giant outdoor Santas tower 17 feet, and the lofty snowman is 15 feet.

I’ve done Jurassic jungle boat ride with my family back in 2019 4 years ago and it was awesome 🤩 and fantastic and we will definitely 💯 go back to Jurassic jungle boat ride and earthquake there’s something behind those attractions that tell stories and I concur 👍 aka agreed 👍 with you jackie and Sam.
I was there 6-8 and 6-9-23 for the last weekend of the Flower and Food Festival. I stayed a couple doors down at Americana Inn by Travelodge. Clean but a lot of maintenance issues. You get what you pay for.
I went to the Comedy Barn. Good clean family fun. Great show. The performers walk around before the show and at intermission. They take your picture upon entry which you can purchase. Snacks and drinks available which you can take to your seat. I saw Jurassic boat ride across the street but had no time to try it. Thanks for sharing Frizzle Chicken. I had no idea about the chicken show. Too cute.❤ Safe travels.

I hope so and am going to predict that Jackie and Sam do visit Dollywood because of the coaster enthusiasts event and/or to ride Big Bear! I rode Big 🐻 last night with my one of my best friends who drive up from Nashville and we had a blast (also at the dance party even in the rain)!! 💖
We are going back the end of July. The Christmas tree store is my favorite place. Knowing they will be doing a Christmas in July makes me even more excited to go.
Christmas Place is always our first day stop. Paula Deans is a great place for lunch!
