If they do a road trip, they should be required to stop at every roadside attraction that’s advertised on a billboard most especially they should have to go to south of the border and if they ever get to South Dakota, they have to go to wall drug

That’s the thing about the campy dinosaur ride, it’s bad and it’s expensive, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen you all laughing that hard getting off of a Disney ride. That’s what Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are all about IMO, it’s not high class, but you’ll get some good pancakes, candy, moonshine, and you’ll laugh with your best friends so hard that you can’t breathe on the way out of a campy tourist trap, and it’s all in view of the beautiful great smoky mountains.
@@b6q584 I mean, a moonshine tasting, a visit to the aquarium, and a souvenir photo experience (yes, it's an experience, because they have a whole wardrobe to outfit you with a costume, set and props) is $100 for two people. A day trip to Disney World for two people is _at least_ $220, and that's only for the tickets to get in; doesn't include a souvenir or a food/drink experience. I suppose the difference is that you can ride a few rides, provided you don't mind standing in an hour queue for each one. Lately, Disney just seems like you're paying a lot of money (too much) to stand in lines and walk around an overcrowded park that you can't fully enjoy.

It's a lot less expensive, and more rewarding, to get a $5 parking pass and drive around the Roaring Fork nature trail or take a hike up Chimney Tops trail in the National Park. But cheesy animatronic dinos have their place too. 🦖

Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge is the mountain haven of people from South Louisiana. We used to go a couple fo times a year. We even evacuated there when Katrina hit and ended up being there for 10 days. The people were all so kind to us, so much so that the hotel we stayed at comped our room over the Labor Day weekend. I also love me some Dollywood!!!

You guys really should go to Sandusky, Ohio. Make a whole series of videos like you did with this trip to Tennessee. You could stay at the Great Wolf Lodge, do a video on that, then visit the Ghostly Manor Thrill Center for an escape room and their haunted house. Then the next day you could go to Cedar Point, one of the top rated amusement parks in the world, known for incredible roller coasters, and stay at their on-site resort! And the third day, you could wrap up the trip with the Merry-Go-Round Museum, a wine tour at the various wineries and restaurants around the area, stop at the Toft Ice Cream Parlor, do a walk-thru or drive-thru safari at the wildlife park, or have a beach day and go parasailing on Lake Eerie. I really think you guys would have fun, and get some great videos out of it. You seem to be expert planners for these kinds of trips, so I'm sure you could find even more things to do than I have suggested!

I love visiting Gatlinburg and so glad to see y’all there- the Donut Friar and the Smokey Mtn Taffy Candy in the Village are my favorite places in town. I usually spend most of time in the Smokey Mountains Park. I haven’t been to much of the touristy places.
A friend of mine wanted to try moonshine. So, we got her moonshine. Her description? " it tastes like gasoline and hamster shavings" I still laugh over this 😅
Next spring you should try to visit Branson, Missouri! Lots of similarities to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. But you can spend a day at Silver Dollar City, enjoy the beautiful Dogwood Canyon and Top of the Rock, and take a dinner cruise on the Branson Belle. Then stop off in Springfield before you fly out to visit the home of Bass Prp and the amazing Wonders of Wildlife museum attached to Bass Pro.
I took an entire class of 6th graders camping in the Smokey Mountains a few years ago, and we did the aquarium. It was a true highlight of that trip not including the amazing nature you find in the mountains. I'm so glad Max mentioned Ober Gatlinburg- that should be a stop on your next trip because it really is just a great place. Also for us non-drinkers, maybe go to Glades Soda Fountain. Your watch hours are going to be off of the charts on this one. I kept having to pause I was laughing so hard.

Coming from a zookeeper who LOVES her animals and gives her whole heart, blood, sweat, and tears to make sure they are as happy and as healthy as possible, it's so refreshing to see people talking about how high animal care standards can (and should!) be 🥰🥰 and encouraging others to enjoy it too! Also, as a penguin keeper, I was crackinggg up at Max's experience 🤣

Thank you Max for calling out the beautiful nature around the area! Ehrn we visit the area that’s the main attraction for us. We do take 2 days out of our time to shop down the Gatlinburg strip and the crafters village and Dollywood, but most of our time is the national park. Can’t wait for that vlog! (Maybe during the thanksgiving or Christmas Holiday)

Next time yall need to drive through Cades Cove great place to see bears Molly. Dixie Stampede is worth it to see! So many fun things to do and the best natural scenery. Just love it! The post dinner show debrief was my fav part 😂😂😂 I couldn’t stop giggling along with you guys! 😅 also surprised it was Molly’s first Alpine coaster! There’s a great one in Big Bear, CA & in Glenwood Caverns in Colorado!
LOVE this- the airbrushed tees really set the cheesy, fun vibe! My fam went to Gatlinburg every Spring Break growing up (never Disney), and as kids we would be sad to not get to do all of that touristy stuff like Ripleys or the shows. Seeing this, I'm glad we didn't! (Except for the aquarium- that is top notch as we have brought our kids there.). 🤣 We always hiked in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park which is amazing- like Max said at the end. Camping & hiking there is what a vacation there should really be. Now, we take our kids here every few years...sometimes on our drive down to Disney World. 💜
Loved this one as we are from NC & frequent TN often. Tip for a future trip yall should check out Cades Cove. It's an 11 mile loop through the country. Beautiful landscapes & we've seen bear, deer, owl, turkeys & fox while driving through.

Well, thank you. We were in pigeon Forge last week for one night. We were trying to debate whether to go to the Hatfields and McCoys or go out for a nice steak dinner at the chophouse. We decided to go out for a nice dinner and play putt putt. It was a wonderful evening. I’m glad we skipped Hat field and McCoys now they see this.
My family goes on an annual trip to the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area every year, and this video was great! I was cracking up most of the time. We tried the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show for the first time last year, and I couldn't agree more with the review lol I wish I would've gotten a Mammoth Club reaction before going. Love you guys!

We went to the Pirate dinner show, and it wasn’t bad. Food was mediocre, as to be expected. Just grab a Mellow Mushroom pizza on the way to your cabin after.
Alright Molly. I watched your videos for over a year before my first Disney trip and it was a HUGE success. I also watched all your ones for mickeys not so scary and again it was a HUGE success. My husband and I were married at a little log chapel in Gatlinburg almost 18 years ago. It’s so beautiful! We were blessed to be able to go back and stay in the same cabin for our 10th anniversary. We’re hoping to go back for our 20th.

Thank you so much for this. My wife and I had a similar trip and I don't know how you enjoyed anything after the moonshine because we got so - well, you know. In Hatfields and McCoys - there was voice over for one of the characters while they were in the water - but the voice was a completely different actor. SO bad it's absolutely good.
As someone who was born and raised in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge and ALWAYS played tourist in my own hometown, you hit the nail right on the head with this. The area is campy when it comes to those tourist attractions, but, MAN, the laughs that come with it. I was really hoping Molly would get to see the sharkies at the aquarium (one of my favorite things in the burg). Can attest to the dinner shows - H&McC is not worth it but I think Dolly’s Stampede is! It was my favorite growing up because of the food and horses, but nothing tops Dollywood. LOVED this video!!
My kids LOVED the aquarium. As frequent Disney goers it was fun to go there for a weekend but everything was SO expensive. We are AP holders so quick Disney trips aren’t that expensive in comparison but my goodness did we spend a lot of money on cheesy touristy stuff 😂
I stayed at the cutest cabin in Sieverville about 10 years ago and it was one of my most favorite vacations. We didn’t know when booking, but every night we got to watch the fireworks from Dollywood from our balcony. It was awesome. My favorite parts were the Alpine Coaster, Dollywood, and hiking in the mountains. Oh and saw so many bears

😂 omg yall I JUST got back from my 1st visit there and I am SO JEALOUS you guys did the Jurassic ride!!! I wanted to try it SO BAD because I knew it would be hilarious 😆 Thanks for letting me live vicariously thru yall! We also really enjoyed the aquarium, and we did the Pirates Dinner show. Same menu, but REALLY FUN SHOW! Impressive stunts & cheesy, but a very good cheesy. 😂 I couldn’t convince my crew to get an old-time photo, so it’s nice to see you enjoy yours! 🤠
Thank you Max for calling out the beautiful nature around the area! Ehrn we visit the area that’s the main attraction for us. We do take 2 days out of our time to shop down the Gatlinburg strip and the crafters village and Dollywood, but most of our time is the national park. Can’t wait for that vlog! (Maybe during the thanksgiving or Christmas Holiday)

Loved this video, made me want to get in the car and head to the mountains! Been visiting the Smokeys since in a stroller my favorite place in the US. Next time yall need to drive through Cades Cove great place to see bears Molly. Dixie Stampede is worth it to see! So many fun things to do and the best natural scenery. Just love it! LOVE this- the airbrushed tees really set the cheesy, fun vibe! My fam went to Gatlinburg every Spring Break growing up (never Disney), and as kids we would be sad to not get to do all of that touristy stuff like Ripleys or the shows. Seeing this, I'm glad we didn't! (Except for the aquarium- that is top notch as we have brought our kids there.). 🤣
We always hiked in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park which is amazing- like Max said at the end. Camping & hiking there is what a vacation there should really be. Now, we take our kids here every few years...sometimes on our drive down to Disney World. 💜
Loved this one as we are from NC & frequent TN often. Tip for a future trip yall should check out Cades Cove. It's an 11 mile loop through the country. Beautiful landscapes & we've seen bear, deer, owl, turkeys & fox while driving through.

Well, thank you. We were in pigeon Forge last week for one night. We were trying to debate whether to go to the Hatfields and McCoys or go out for a nice steak dinner at the chophouse. We decided to go out for a nice dinner and play putt putt. It was a wonderful evening. I’m glad we skipped Hat field and McCoys now they see this.
My family goes on an annual trip to the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area every year, and this video was great! I was cracking up most of the time. We tried the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show for the first time last year, and I couldn't agree more with the review lol I wish I would've gotten a Mammoth Club reaction before going. Love you guys!

We went to the Pirate dinner show, and it wasn’t bad. Food was mediocre, as to be expected. Just grab a Mellow Mushroom pizza on the way to your cabin after.
We liked the Hatfields and McCoys way better than the pirate show.
Watching Molly eat a pancake gave me a great laugh to start my day!

Alright Molly. I watched your videos for over a year before my first Disney trip and it was a HUGE success. I also watched all your ones for mickeys not so scary and again it was a HUGE success.

My husband and I were married at a little log chapel in Gatlinburg almost 18 years ago. It’s so beautiful! We were blessed to be able to go back and stay in the same cabin for our 10th anniversary. We’re hoping to go back for our 20th.

Thank you so much for this. My wife and I had a similar trip and I don't know how you enjoyed anything after the moonshine because we got so - well, you know. In Hatfields and McCoys - there was voice over for one of the characters while they were in the water - but the voice was a completely different actor. SO bad it's absolutely good.
The T-posing pterodactyl (??) with the disco lights made me spit my water out I was laughing so hard that took me OUT!!

As someone who was born and raised in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge and ALWAYS played tourist in my own hometown, you hit the nail right on the head with this. The area is campy when it comes to those tourist attractions, but, MAN, the laughs that come with it. I was really hoping Molly would get to see the sharkies at the aquarium (one of my favorite things in the burg). Can attest to the dinner shows - H&McC is not worth it but I think Dolly’s Stampede is! It was my favorite growing up because of the food and horses, but nothing tops Dollywood. LOVED this video!!

My kids LOVED the aquarium. As frequent Disney goers it was fun to go there for a weekend but everything was SO expensive. We are AP holders so quick Disney trips aren’t that expensive in comparison but my goodness did we spend a lot of money on cheesy touristy stuff 😂
I stayed at the cutest cabin in Sieverville about 10 years ago and it was one of my most favorite vacations. We didn’t know when booking, but every night we got to watch the fireworks from Dollywood from our balcony. It was awesome. My favorite parts were the Alpine Coaster, Dollywood, and hiking in the mountains. Oh and saw so many bears
Nailed it MAM…never laughed so hard!! Btw the Titanic Experience is so good! I even enjoyed the chocolate frozen custard there but drew the line at the Titanic cones and (worse yet) the Titanic Splits 🤔😬🍦
