I was lucky enough to get Soggoth in my first Old Gods Arena, and I must say, it performed SPECTACULARLY well. Every time I played him, I won the game. You're absolutely right, Paladins have quite a few ways to deal with it, but other than that... basically no class does. Also, many Paladins use the Keeper of Uldaman earlier than turn 9, because it allows for a great tempo swing even then, and seeing as LoE cards don't have an occurence bonus anymore, you don't run into more than one of them THAT often. Right now, I think the best Arena class out there is Rogue, and if the Rogue doesn't happen to have a Sabotage, Soggoth stops him in his tracks instantaneously. So while I agree that there are better Legendaries for Arena, if I get Soggoth again, I will most likely pick him against most other Legendaries.

What surprised me the most is that hunter only traded a single minion in the first 7 or 8 turns, but he was also running explosive shot and deadly shot. That was the faciest face hunter I've ever seen in my life and it ended up being part control.

A Taunt AND a "Can't be targeted by spells or Hero Powers" combines to make a wall aggressive decks need to pass to get to your health. It's nice, but it doesn't combat the problem that spells bring to the table. Spells are basically a "Charge minion", that can bypass Taunt if needed. We need more cards like Loatheb (maybe even shift it into the classic collection somehow) to not die in a single turn from spell bursty decks, like Freeze mage, or Ancestor's Call Malygos shaman.
I thought this card was really cool when it was first revealed, usually people save hard removal for the big minions, but with this guy the only hard removal I can think of is deadly shot
The thing is, Soggoth is good right now because aren't running Black Knight or Keeper, but as soon as Soggoth becomes more popular as a way to counter those aggro decks, you'll start seeing more of the cards that destroy Soggoth.
hey kripp. you should craft up the golden legs you need for your 30 leg deck. cost/benefit analysis: cost: you may (will) lose out on some dust if (when) you pull duplicates. benefit: how good is golden coin? bm over 9000. p2w salt. analysis: do it.

If i had all the cards like kripp does i think id try just making a deck of all the best value cards. I feel like it would work. Like all the best legendaries, spells, early game, etc. This meta seems like it would allow a deck like that to do well.
As kripp would say its preeeeeetttyy good.especially in zoo decks,where u basically spam minions as it also triggers off imp gang boss.also it plays on a nice curve-3mana councilman to 4mana implosion,giving it more attack,or even forbidden rituals.finally its 5health is more than most 3-drops so its definitely quite sturdy.

There is a reason not to - if he had only taunted the snake, the snake would have killed his minion by itself. Because he taunted both, he ended up losing both of his minions instead of only the snake.
Loosing two minions instead of one snake is better you think? I dont think so. Calculating leathal at that point is almost impossible. Buffing two minions instead of one is not playing around darkbomb, because if the opponent had one, he would have killed the snake with it anyway, and the infernal survives. Playing around another infernal? It would not kill the 3/2 snake, and you loose the huckster in a free trade both cases. So no, none of the ideas makes logical sense, waiting for further explaination.
All the legendaries are waiting in a drop ship in orbit around the planet, like Titanfall. When Sneed's dies his shredder beams the coordinates to a random one so they know where to land.
When I've used the card it has never been silenced or battlecried. Normally they've used those cards before soggoth, they don't expect it and also normally you don't put it on turn 9 right away, it comes later when the board is more or less good for him. The card is an ok/very very slightly good 9 drop but the thing is people want OP late drops not ok ones, therefore it's not very seen in ranked.

I'm playing him in my ramp druid and he's doing great. Black Knight and Equality are the only real enemies he has and BK is gone and paladins are pretty rare too nowadays.

i use it in mill druid. as the enemy cannot play any cards against it an thus have more cards in hand.
