Let me explain to you, why Flamewreathed Faceless is no 4 mana 7/7. It overloads you for two, you can play it on turn four, but you have to pay 6 mana. Is Eerie Statue a 4 mana 7/7? yes Does it suck? yes Is Flamewreathed Faceless a 4 mana 7/7? NO Is it good? Probably, but Core Rager is better
One Theory I missed in Kripps statement "why is Fandral good", is that Fandral is especially good with spells, because spells have two effects equal to their manacost, so the value 2*mana cost of spell + 1-2 mana (Draw a card), where as minions with chose effects have a body, so the choseone effect is weaker when put into relation with spell choose one effect.
They usually have effects very slightly weaker than their mana cost, for instance wrath is a 2 mana deal 3 damage whereas frostbolt is a 2 mana deal 3 damage and freeze.

Mulch is probably their best removal currently. just wish it would give your opponent a card 3 mana or less so that way it won't generally end your game
personally, I think naturalize is better. it's not a better card in general, but it's a better solution to the druids problem. you have to know how to use the card. druid struggles against really strong minions that need to be removed immediately (for example a legendary or a minion that got buffed by a lot of cards). against normal minions, druid can generally just trade with his own minions. so imagine that the opponent plays a really strong legendary... mulch needs 3 mana and you can potentially give him another legendary if your luck is very bad. but if you use naturalize, it's only 1 mana, which allows you to come back on the board, and since you just killed his strongest minion, it's impossible for him to draw it again because obviously legendaries are limited to 1. if you kill a minion that is worth lots of cards (when you need to invest lots of cards to deal with an opponents card, then I consider that the opponents card is worth lots of cards), then it doesn't matter if the opponent gets 2 cards in return that are worse than the one you dealt with. on the other hand, mulch will still give you opponent 1 card anyway, and it might actually be stronger.
Fandral's a lot like Brann. You don't need a deck full of synergy cards to make it work. Zoo runs Brann even if there's only 6 good battlecries and a few negative ones like flame imp and doomguard. Fandral can pull its weight even without the less popular choose cards like nourish or power of the wild.
I have never seen a Fandral deck without Nourish. Nourish is the highest quality card in the game under his effects and druid has serious trouble cycling without Nourish.
I've been thinking about beast druid a lot. Now with Fandral buffing your little druids, and mark of Y'shaarj, it's more viable than ever. Well, that's not saying much, but still...
An idea for Druid removal: Inner Beast(3)(Spell): Transform a minion into a 4/4 Mad Beast. Seems like an ok option while still being terrible compared to other removal(e.g. Polymorph).
Thing about Fandral is that a lot of the choose one effect cards are extremely versatile/powerful on their own. Some like keeper of the grove/ancient of lore are no longer good because of the nerf, but a lot of the spells and minions, Ancient of War, Cenarius, Druid of the Claw, Wrath, Mire Keeper, etc, are good enough on their own to make the deck competitive. Fandral is just a insane win more/win condition card, and gives so much value in extra-cards/mana, that even if Fandral only lives one turn, you have probably secured the win for that game. Plus ramp is still really fucking hard to deal with as an opponent. The druid can have between 1-5 more mana than you, and usually because of innervate, they have a bigger board/board control over you.

I mean it would be pretty broken to basically give it 2 spell damage per 1 spell damage you have but still seems weird.
Also, Fandral minions that transform into other minions like Druid of the Claw or Druid of the Flame currently don't trigger *Repentance* or *Snipe*, aren't killed by *Sacred Trial* and give the base 4/4 or 2/2 minion, respectively, when copied by *Mirror Entity*. Hopefully, this silly bug gets fixed soon though.

How did Kripp know that someone died when he played Yogg at 20:40? Is there something that appears on heros that indicates that someone died kind of like how a creature will lose the green surrounding if it dies after playing Yogg (assuming it doesn't have summoning sickness)?
I like Fandral just because he's a decent body with a great effect. I don't mind playing him on 4, because he's a kind of "super taunt". Of course he doesn't help against aggro, but that's not why you should be putting him in. I think he's a neat "Tech Choice" per say.

But the minions look pretty
Spells are strictly 2x value. Minions only have value as big as their battlecry is (ancient of war has a high value, for instance)
Fandral was the first golden legendary that I pulled. Kinda want to make a deck around him
