  • When discussing historical accuracy, names, places, dates and events are the name of the game. These things must hold up, but do they in the Qur’an? If the Qur’an is eternal, protected by Allah himself, it cannot have any historical errors, right? Watch as Al Fadi and Dr. Jay begin reviewing the historical blunders present in the Qur’an.

Al Fadi is right. There are actually 13 tribes of Israel since Jacob have each of Joseph's sons their own tribe. When we talk about the 12 tribes, we are referring to those who got a section of land in Israel. The tribe of Levi only received certain cities dispersed among the other tribes so they could act as priests.

It never was 13. Joseph never was a "tribe". He got the double portion, so his two sons made two tribes. That was a greater gift to Joseph then giving him his own tribe. Al Fadi didn't exactly say that Joseph was a tribe. He correctly stated what I just said.

Is the abrogation law an error by itself. How can a suposed God, make a mistake in sending a verse?

    • @Tzedakah263
      @Tzedakah263 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

A good argument, but a common counter I've heard is, "Allah sent a verse that was relevant for certain people at a certain time, but the verse was abrogated because it's no longer relevant" similar to how Christians don't follow the 613 laws of the Torah.

The problem isn’t abrogation per se. All scriptures have examples of rules that applied at one time, and not another. The problem is generalization to say that the books of Islam replace the books of other religions. The Quran gives no indication that this is the case, and moreover indicates that the Torah, Zaboor, and Injil are preserved by the Jews and Christians.

In Europe we have more extensive historic texts that reveals the origins of Islam and Islamic worship at the time closer to Mohammed's creation. Muslims were called Saracens by Greeks and Romans in the medieval times. The name came from the Semitic root is srq "to steal, rob, thief", more specifically from the noun sāriq (Arabic: سارق), pl. sāriqīn (سارقين), which means "thief, marauder". Their idol was actually an ancient d3monic entity.
According to ancient scripts from Knight Templars, the name for Mohammed used by desert Arabs in those days was BAPHOMET (a name for the devil). Baphomet = Mahomed (Mohammed). The muslims used the scream for Baphomet for their protection and blessings whenever they launched an attack.
Gauserand de Montpesant, a knight of Provence, said that their superior (Arab caliph) showed him an idol made in the form of 'Baffomet'; another, named Raymond Rubei, described it as a wooden head, on which the figure of Baphomet was painted, and adds, "that he (the muslim leader) worshipped it by kissing its feet, and exclaiming, 'Yalla'.

The first mistake you made is that Muslims were not called Saracens. But, the word Saracen was used by jews to refer to the Arabs in general. And second mistake that the word Saracens did not come from the word sarq. The aramic word for steal is ganab while the Hebrew word for steal is latganov. The word sarq was arabic word means steal. How in hell foreigners use an arabic word
for the Arabs? Shouldn't they use their own language for the Arabs? If you are English speaker are you going to use English word to call the French with or are you going to abandon your own language and use the French language?
The word Saracens did not come from the arabic word sarq, but came from the name Sara, wife of Abraham, and the ancient aramic and Hebrew word qin meaning slave. Qin in Hebrew and Aramaic meant slave.
So, the meaing of saracens was Sara slaves or slaves of Sara. Jews in ancient time used to refer to the Arabs as Saraqin or Sara slaves because they believed that Hager, the mother of Ishmael, the father of the Arabs, was given as slave to Sara. So, they considered her decendants slaves to Sara, so they called them saraqins.
The rest if your comment are wrong, but don't have time to correct to you. Hope you try to learn more about Islam with open mind.

@@mahmoodali1533 You know nothing! You don't even know your own religion and less so, our history. Saracens was the name Europeans used for muslims. It meant THIEF because they looted, murdered, raped and enslaved their way through Europe. The oldest known source mentioning "Saracens" in relation to Islam dates back to the 7th century, in the Greek-language Christian tract Doctrina Jacobi. Among other major events, the tract discusses the Muslim occupation of the Levant, which occurred after the rise of the Rashidun Caliphate following the death of prophet Muhammad. The Roman Catholic Church and European Christian leaders used the term during the Middle Ages to refer to Muslims.
Eusebius in his Ecclesiastical history narrates an account wherein Pope Dionysius of Alexandria mentions Saracens in a letter while describing the persecution of Christians by the Roman Emperor Decius: "Many were, in the Arabian mountain, enslaved by the barbarous 'sarkenoi'." The Augustan History also refers to an attack by Saraceni on Pescennius Niger's army in Egypt in 193.
Both Hippolytus of Rome and Uranius mention three distinct peoples in Arabia during the first half of the third century: the Taeni, the Saraceni, and the Arabes. The Taeni, later identified with the Arab people called Tayy, were located around Khaybar (an oasis north of Medina) and also in an area stretching up to the Euphrates. The Saraceni were placed north of them. These Saracens, located in the northern Hejaz, were described as people with a violent military bent who were opponents of the Roman Empire and who were classified by the Romans as barbarians.
In an 8th-century polemical work, the Arab Christian monk John of Damascus criticized the Saracens as followers of a "false" prophet and "forerunner[s] to the Antichrist," and further connected their name to Ishmael and his expulsion.
By the 12th century, Medieval Europeans used the term Saracen as both an ethnic and religious marker. In some Medieval literature, Saracens were equated with Muslims in general and described as dark (from a dark source, evil). The term Saracen remained in use in the West as a synonym for "Muslim" until the 18th century.
In India muslims were referred to as MLECCHA (barbarian, wicked, savage, a godless sinner, bad person, evil). In Spain muslims were referred to as Moors and Barbers, which is where the word Barbarian comes from, because of the barbaric behaviour.

They ˹later˺ sold him for a cheap price, just a few silver coins-only wanting to get rid of him. 20
بَخْسٍۢ دَرَٰهِمَ - by words translation a few dirham or a some money
The verse could mean that he was sold rather cheaply rather than meaning a few dirhams. Words in the semitic languages could convey many meanings and
The dirham could be a measurement of money or the coin. The word dirham itself was taken from Greek drachme to Persian drahm to Arabic dirham.
      1 Chronicles 29:7 :
7 They gave for the service of the house of God 5,000 talents and 10,000 DARIC[a] of gold, 10,000 talents of silver, 18,000 talents of bronze and 100,000 talents of iron.
Now what is a DARIC doing in the time of David?
The use of the words like daric and dirham refers to money than the specific coin or currency.

However other items, had the British not preserved them, would surely have been lost forever. Contrary to these claims, specialists in Samaritan studies have noted that the use of the term shomronim in II Kings 17 tells us nothing about the origins of the Samaritans. Shomronim means the "inhabitants of Samaria" and it has nothing to do with shamerin, "keepers" or "observers" of the Torah, which the Samaritans use for themselves. Furthermore, the narrative in II Kings 17:18-24 claiming the population of Israel in its totality was deported by Assyrians and exchanged to an alien population is unsupported by archaeology. This historical discrepancy severely undermines the veracity of the biblical claim concerning Samaritan origins. Consequently, modern scholars have conclusively rejected II Kings 17 as a source for the origins of Samaritans.
In recent years, research based on a more careful study of the Chronicles of the Samaritans has led to a re-evaluation of their origins. Specifically, with the publication of the Samaritan Chronicle II (Sefer ha-Yamim), the fullest Samaritan version of their own history became available. A historical analysis of this chronicle reveals that the Samaritans are the direct descendants of the Joseph tribes, Ephraim and Manasseh, and until the 17th century C.E. they possessed a high priesthood descending directly from Aaron through Eleazar and Phinehas. The common ancestry of both the Jews and Samaritans was also established by recent genetic studies, going back to cohen or the Jewish priestly family. This study also validated both local and foreign origins of the Samaritans.

He is saying Samiri =Samaritan and then he says there was no Samaritans… the Quran says Samiri not Samaritan
According to a midrash (Tanhuma Pinhas 2.1; Sanhedrin 82b), Zimri was the same person as Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.[4][5]
In Islam, Zimri appears under the name as-Sāmirī (الـسّٰامِرِي). Islam also assigns to him a major role in the earlier affair of the Golden Calf, which is not attested in the Bible, although this is only one of several theories for the man’s identity.[6] The Islamic account attributes to Zimri/Samiri many of the actions which the Hebrew Bible assigns to Aaron - thus exonerating the latter, Islam's prophet Harun, from involvement in the sinful worship of the Calf

These two jokers don’t understand history in Islamic context. A child can just browse Wikipedia to search for the correct understanding who Samiri really was. He was “a person”.
“Samiri or the Samiri (Arabic: الْسَّامِريّ) is a phrase used by the Quran to refer to a rebellious follower of Moses who created the golden calf and attempted to lead the Hebrews into idolatry. According to the twentieth chapter of the Quran, Samiri created the calf while Moses was away for 40 days on Mount Sinai, receiving the Ten Commandments.
In contrast to the account given in the Hebrew Bible, the Quran does not blame Aaron for the calf’s creation.” (Wikipedia)
The fact that the Samaritans didn’t exist during Pharoah dynasty, let alone during Moses time, proves strongly the authenticity of the quran as the true WORD OF GOD. Don’t mess around with Allah guys.

  • @zulmahmud5438
    @zulmahmud5438 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Quite often, this site puts up a strawman and then uses its best arguments to put it down. It is pretty sad, really. It is okay to put out your arguments, but this is not how to do it.
There are three references in the Quran on Samiri:
    1. Taha 20:95 Moses asked, "What did you think you were doing, O Sâmiri?"
    2. Taha 20:85 Allah responded, "We have indeed tested your people in your absence, and the Sâmiri has led them astray."
    3. Taha 20:87 They argued, "We did not break our promise to you of our own free will, but we were made to carry the burden of the people's ˹golden˺ jewellery, then we threw it ˹into the fire˺, and so did the Sâmiri."
All three verses say that the name or the title of the man who made the golden calf is Samiri. When Moses went to "meet' God, he left the Israelites under the care of Aaron. However, one of the people who escaped from Egypt with Moses made a golden calf, and he and some Israelites worshipped it.
Allah in the Quran provides the name/title of the person. The Bible did not mention any name.
How is that this become Samaritan? It is along stretch of imagination to say that this Samiri is actually the Samaritan or a Samaritan. . He could be one of the Israelites, or one of the Egyptians joined the Exodus or one the tribesman that the Israelites encounters:
Al A'raf 7:138: We brought the Children of Israel across the sea, and they came upon a people devoted to idols. They demanded, "O Moses! Make for us a god like their gods." He replied, "Indeed, you are a people acting ignorantly!
His name is likely from the Arabic word samar, which means talking at night.
Note that not all the Israelites were true believers. Some were not and held high positions in the Pharaoh's government. And many chose to remain in Egypt.
Below are some other excerpts from the Quran regarding the incident. The Quran tells its own stories, corrects the biblical stories, provides more details to the stories, and removes incorrect facts.
Al-Baqarah 2:54 And ˹remember˺ when Moses said to his people, "O my people! Surely you have wronged yourselves by worshipping the calf, so turn in repentance to your Creator and execute ˹the calf-worshippers among˺ yourselves. That is best for you in the sight of your Creator." Then, He accepted your repentance. Indeed, He is the Accepter of Repentance and most merciful.
Al-Baqarah 2:51 And ˹remember˺ when We appointed forty nights for Moses, then you worshipped the calf in his absence, acting wrongfully.
Al-Baqarah 2:92 Indeed, Moses came to you with clear proofs, then you worshipped the calf in his absence, acting wrongfully.

Let's stay consistent brother and think biblically, the ten commandments, mosses destroyed the original so according to scholar's the second set wasn't inspired if there consistent , blaspheme!.
The Jeremiah scroll was cut up and burnt so the copy he and his scrib wrote and added on aslo, can't be inspired right? If the scholars are being honest.
Translations were made all the way through the originals but the scholars also claimed not even a Translation could be inspired so if they are being consistent not even the originals are inspired or correct and let's face the facts no one in modern times has ever seen a original so if the scholars are being honest and consistent they don't know ow if we have the actual words of the prophets, kings, the Holy Spirit, Jesus or the Father.
The only errors made were made from the printing press and some spelling errors .
