I’m addicted to american tv shows and i can vividly remember my english professor when i was in college, she gave us a task to make a play using the jargons of different professions. And I was the only one in our class who got 10/10 because she told me i was fluent in english ( tho i know that i was really bad in pronouncing english words) because i didn’t notice that improvement on myself. During those times i was addicted to two american tv shows which were “Riverdale” and “13 Reasons Why.” I didn’t know that i already familiarized their accent and the right pronunciation of words. Watching american tv shows really made a big impact on my english pronunciation because aside from the english speakers of the shows, these shows also have english subtitles. P.S english was one of my weaknesses but now i’m already a licensed english teacher. It wasn’t easy but it was really worth it.
The best tip for me is tip #4 , why ? Because im always watching American drama/series and I always watching a series that have English subtitles . And for me its very helpful . I'm not good in English but since I watch and listen to the voice from drama I learned alot ... So for me try nyo din po makinig ng mga English song. And watch English series . Sorry for my English in not good enough and I admit it ❤️😊

I got your point because even American is not that good in English yes they speak fluently but they only depend on sound to understand. For them as long as you understand each other you are good. I've seen a lot of call center agents who get positive appraisal from American customers because even if they have accent (referring to the Visayan people) they are spontaneous and understandable.
Bangungot Mo Ko I’m Visayan but no one noticed that I have heavy accent...so not only Visayan have heavy accents but other people other than Visayan as well
Hello. I have been living in canada for 5 years and I'm still concious on my english skills. At first, I know what is missing on me but later on it turns blank and no have idea why I do not being fluent time by time. I feel lose hope to change way of my perspective and get confidence that one day I can say all my emotions.

To be honest based on my experience when I was In school some teachers they don't have care to some weak students as long as their salaries was paid by the government. I really love tip number 4.... one of my reason why I am watching international movie is to aware on how they use English language! British movie and American series are great most specially with subtitles... surely guys its a big help!! I also have a tickler while watching, listing down words that I am not familiar with..... I do remind myself one unfamiliar word everyday.
Kahit nga sa mga foreign countries di parin madedeny na nagkakamali rin sila sa grammar. Watch some international movies kahit may subtitle o wala, try to observe and listen, paminsan nagkakamali din sila sa grammar.
Parehas tayo strategy mam kailangan kc talga yung mahawa sila sa sounds para ma adop yung culture. I highly recommend Iron man guys with subtitles very cool 😊❤👌
base on my observation, some of us (Filipino) we are familiar some English words and later on understands some common conversations, but the real problem is when we are talking to foreigners, we don't clearly understand their accents.
My tip is create a journal. After months of learning the language, re-read your journal to know if there are improvements. Another tip is translate the words that you can't understand into Filipino, just to get some ideas kung ano ibig sabihin ng mga salitang naii-encounter natin either reading or watching. Sa ngayon, patuloy kong iniimprove ang english ko, especially my grammar.
For me i read the scriptures daily in English. my mentor told me reading the scriptures in english is more bitter to help us . Im sure becoz the holy ghost help us as will. I do it at 5:00 in the morning.

I improved my english skills both in speaking and writing when I was using Snapchat while chatting with American soldiers way back when I was in kuwait. Yeah, it sounds like flirty but I don't mind because it was worthy.
Just a word of warning.Many American soldiers are actually Nigerian or African scammers living in cheap Youth Hostels with free internet, on a Student Visa in Malaysia.

Very kind of you to teach our students the correct and proper pronunciations of so many English words...this wasn't always the case...up until then senators Raul Rocco and Joseph Estrada passed a law translating everything to Tagalog...this is the side effect of their stupid law...I was lucky to have learned the correct way to pronounce and speak fluent English...I pitied my children because they had to suffer for the stupidity of our lawmakers because they couldn't speak English...they made all generations like them...thank you for your patience...keep up the good work!

Imagine, I’m only 15 when I started going there on Omegle and now I’m 16 and I can see the improvement of my grammar it’s like I have already the ability of hearing English word and if there is ungrammatical I can sense it and my mind choosing the right term or word for that.
The thing we need to improve in english speaking is our diction. When I was in secondary private school in Olongapo we have "speech class" apart from the usual english subject and literature. Btw, I like the way you express yourself, you seemed to have very calm personality.

Hello. I have been living in canada for 5 years and I'm still concious on my english skills. At first, I know what is missing on me but later on it turns blank and no have idea why I do not being fluent time by time. I feel lose hope to change way of my perspective and get confidence that one day I can say all my emotions.

To be honest based on my experience when I was In school some teachers they don't have care to some weak students as long as their salaries was paid by the government. I am thankful to here because we have been content creators who's willing to share their knowledge to help us and learn on what didn't recognized in the past.

base on my observation, some of us (Filipino) we are familiar some English words and later on understands some common conversations, but the real problem is when we are talking to foreigners, we don't clearly understand their accents.
My tip is create a journal. After months of learning the language, re-read your journal to know if there are improvements. Another tip is translate the words that you can't understand into Filipino, just to get some ideas kung ano ibig sabihin ng mga salitang naii-encounter natin either reading or watching. Sa ngayon, patuloy kong iniimprove ang english ko, especially my grammar.
For me i read the scriptures daily in English. my mentor told me reading the scriptures in english is more bitter to help us . Im sure becoz the holy ghost help us as will. I do it at 5:00 in the morning.

I improved my english skills both in speaking and writing when I was using Snapchat while chatting with American soldiers way back when I was in kuwait. Yeah, it sounds like flirty but I don't mind because it was worthy.
Just a word of warning.Many American soldiers are actually Nigerian or African scammers living in cheap Youth Hostels with free internet, on a Student Visa in Malaysia.
Having this kind of teacher is a blessing. She has a voice that is pleasing to ears. Tonight is my first time to watch her YT videos and I think that I will be watching more for the next days. ❤✨

Very kind of you to teach our students the correct and proper pronunciations of so many English words...this wasn't always the case...up until then senators Raul Rocco and Joseph Estrada passed a law translating everything to Tagalog...this is the side effect of their stupid law...I was lucky to have learned the correct way to pronounce and speak fluent English...I pitied my children because they had to suffer for the stupidity of our lawmakers because they couldn't speak English...they made all generations like them...thank you for your patience...keep up the good work!

I always watch English movie to know every meaning of that words I always look what situation in the movie and the words or language that they use and I applied it when the time I was talk to other people I'm not totally good in English but I always try my best to study hard and to learn it to improve my grammar. Imagine, I’m only 15 when I started going there on Omegle and now I’m 16 and I can see the improvement of my grammar it’s like I have already the ability of hearing English word and if there is ungrammatical I can sense it and my mind choosing the right term or word for that.
The thing we need to improve in english speaking is our diction. When I was in secondary private school in Olongapo we have "speech class" apart from the usual english subject and literature. Btw, I like the way you express yourself, you seemed to have very calm personality.
