my additional tips (I'm still improving though) :Lagi ka mag English sa bahay hindi siya kaartehan, you're just enhancing and nakakabuild din siya ng confidence. Magbasa ng mga English books and facts, intindihin natin at lagyan natin ng accent o gumaya sa way ng pagsassalita ng mga taga ibang bansa para ma-feel mo at the same time ma-enjoy . And pag nagpapray ka sa Gabi o kahit anong oras try to speak in English kasi walang magjujudge sayo nun.Kapag may bagong word ka natutunan try to use it everyday para matandaan and maadd talaga siya sa kaalaman natin. Kapag nalilito sa pagamit ng isang word don't be lazy and search it para malaman o matama yung pag gamit natin. We can improve ourselves! keep learning. God bless ❤️

One of the biggest thing I learned is that you have to stop caring what other people think about how you speak. Remember, if you have an accent it means you know more than one language and that is something you should be proud of. We Filipinos love to be critical of each other. But that simply shows how insecure one is in their own ability. I am not saying that we shouldn't practice and expand our vocabulary, but we should stop overthinking on how we sound. As long as we can get our message across and our English is understandable, that in itself is an accomplishment. Do this enough and the fluency will follow. Remember even people whose primary language is english still make mistakes in grammar and pronunciation. English is a very difficult language to learn, so be proud kababayan that it is our secondary language.
But bro.for me i have a lisp..i having a difficulty to pronounce s sounds thats the reason that i have a kow self esteem and thats why during my job interview i did not pass..it makes me sick all day. Frustrated..
I am glad that I found this vedio in TH-cam. This is very important for me as a BSBA 1st year student. I really struggle in my studies in times of oral recitation using English Language during our class, I cannot participate the activity of our class, it makes me feel down. I live here in Australia and I did live as well in Saudi Arabia and the UK. I was not very good before but as years passes by I became very good. I could be able to communicate both spoken and written in superlative level. I started reading books and watching movies or TV series. Now, I am very confident to speak to anyone especially to natural born English speakers. Confidence can be developed through constant practice. I armed myself with good vocabularies and learned the proper pronunciation. I am 50 years old now and still learning more on how I can improve more to both written and spoken English.

I've been working in the ESL industry for a year now and just to let you know some of the companies here are looking down on us and underestimating us Filipinos, funny part is that most of them are non-native companies. Keep learning! Show them that we're good at the language till the next coming generation. God bless us all. Praying for our country's revival in the economy and in the education.

I remember when i was in grade 8, i enjoy my highschool days I don’t care what I’ve learned that time, Days passed until i was in Grade 9, i realize that i’ve learned more and more that i should memorized. We have to memorize in order for us to have stuck knowlegde.
I'm not yet proficient when it comes to using English, But Ma'am Audrey says it's not bad to try to write in english, you just have to accept your weakness to become stronger.

Being an observant person is really helpful. Bata palang ako, I'm fond of reading english books. Weakness ko rin dati ang English, pero simula nung nahilig ako sa pagbabasa, lumawak din ang kaalaman ko sa English. Helu mam iv been studying eng for 4months now, I already adopted the British accent which London accent, I can say that, it's only in the beginning of the process are tremendously hard but eventually I got the rythym, now I'm literally using English to communicate/talking to people even native speakers, I'm not even fond of reading books, watching tV nor using dictionaries, there are some 3 ways I usually I do, here they are, vocabulary expansion , grammar and the most important thing I normally do is spoken English, since lockdown now, I have a plenty of time to train my English, my conversional skills now are getting better and better, the 1st thing I did when I started learning it, was knowing all those rules , like conditionals , past tense and all the tenses in English, , now I don't need to learn them, but only adding more vocabularies and its meaning/definition. I spend my time like 2 hours a day talking to people and even native speakers, the most important thing upon learning languages is to improve ur listening skills.

Tip 1:
Pwede kang manood ng mga english na shows tapos lagyan ng subtitles para malaman yung prounounciation at paano isulat. Pwede rin mga anime dub(kaso minsan nakaka-umay) tapos may subtitles.
Tip 2:
Pag hindi ka naman masyado nanonood pwede mo isearch yung lyrics sa kanta na english na gusto mo tapos sabayan mo lang din. Tapos minsan pakinggan yung singer kung paano nya pinopronounce yung lyrics.

Good evening ma'am. I want to say that highly appreciate your effort in helping the young especially the old people who really want to learn English language. However, do not be offended about what am i about to say. In your sample sentence " Door open now" you have said, if i am not mistaken, that we can still understand this sentence even if the PRONUNCIATION is wrong. I just want to clarify maybe what you are trying to say is GRAMMAR AND NOT PRONUNCIATION. I just worry lang po kasi baka may mga batang mag akala na tama yun. Thanks.
Being wrong is ok as long as you practice English and apply the necessary words that is needed in a given scenario or even in writing and thanks po sa inyong time and effort to share your tips on how to be better in writing and speaking in English.
