- Manly P. Hall On The 33 Degree Freemason and how to interpret the masonic ideology.
Freemasonry is described as a "'beautiful system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols"
The symbolism is mainly, but not exclusively, drawn from the manual tools of stonemasons - the square and compasses, the level and plumb rule, the trowel, among others.
A moral lesson is attached to each of these tools, although the assignment is by no means consistent. The meaning of the symbolism is taught and explored through ritualistic practices.
This talk has been restored, remastered and edited for audio clarity.
When you realize that your path is for you to walk alone. You will discover dimensions previously unknown. The more you go within yourself the more the world will reveal itself and its mysteries. But if you turn around and begin moving away from yourself the world around you will flip on you just as quickly as you left it. You are the world and the world is a vast and undiscovered thing. We often times wish we knew who we are so that we may feel safe and secure during uncomfortable times. But there is ALWAYS more than meets the eye. The trick is not to obsess over it. Rather, to pace yourself and find a rhythm. Allow moments to play out. Dont resist the tough times and do not seek out the good things. Discover a balance that is beyond the spectrum of positivity and negativity. There are dimensions that exist outside our field of view. Respect that knowledge and move forward with that in mind. A good mystery is the very thing that keeps you alive - Listen well when I say that you can be dead and still walk amongst the living. Walk your own path. Or become the background in someone elses story - Thats not an ultimatum either.

@@cdidas23 Most of the planet revolves around the few of us who are actually living. To be dead and still walk amongst the living living is to live a lie when only truth exists. When we are living ignorantly lies may temporarily manifest themselves into reality. Lies become real when we ignore the truth. And to be realistic is to understand that sometimes the lie is simply more believable than the truth. But to be alive is to live from a balance. Sometimes the lie is necassary. Sometimes the truth is not. To be dead and walk amongst the living is to abstain from one side or the other. Dreams can only be truly manifested from the balance. Everything else is inevitably thwarted by it's own dualistic nature. All of us revolve around the dreams and pursuits of others. But to exist without a balance is to live for a dream that does not truly exist. And so the very thing driving you forward is already dead. Time is an illusion. So the distance between the mistake and the consequences can be realized as an illusion and you can connect the mistake to the future consequence instantly without having to live through the illusion of time to experience it and realize why it happened that way. To live through the illusion of time from the moment you BEGAN living a lie until the moment you became conscious of it. All that time from point A to B was not life. It was lessons being imprinted into your soul. Now it is possible to live in multiple dimensions at once. To be dead in a few dimensions and alive in others. But once again. There's a balance that must be realized for you to live amongst the living. Or to "keep your head above the water". By overall standards. When the lessons outweigh the experience "our head is under the water" and we are dying/dead walking amongst the living.
@@beckermatthew28 I think the concept of being dead in one dimension and alive in others, is somewhat the basic nature of human beings for ever. Now however, it's different in that the self imposed distraction(head under water= distracted from) we impose on ourselve through the pervealent, and penetrating, digital presence, which has created a lot more dead, walking amonst, alive people. Sad!
@@abernathyfi Very true. It's simply hard to perceive something as real when I'm watching it through a screen. We become batteries for other people's endeavors. While this access is not inherently bad or good. I am sure a great many of us give alot of their energy and time to things without realizing the exchange taking place while it's happening. That is where my concern lies. And that unconscious action that people partake in is purposefully encouraged in this day and age. That's as far as I'll go into that subject. What's interesting to note is sometimes my own physical life was too much for me to handle and I found re sustenance through the digital medium. For instance during my highschool years I found myself undertaking classes I had no interest in and working with people whom I would rather avoid. And so during these times instead of paying attention. I would be on my laptop (in my school we all had laptops). Studying wisdom from Samael Allen Woe. From Alan Watts. Socrates. I had access to things that I was truly interested in. I was not interested in my classes. I was more interested in WHY I was having to sit through those classes. And once I realized this question it became much easier to "get away" from the class. My teachers even gave me passing grades as if they somehow knew I had already outgrown this whole thing. People would begin coming to me with the test answers and the teachers would stop asking me to pay attention. And I found my power through watching the effect of my realizations through the environment around me. Things were really changing because of me. They were changing on a level my peers could not perceive. I even graduated early which I find ironic. But I say all that to point out that I have also benefitted from this access. While I think in this day and age technology is more often the cause of our self imposed drowning. I can recall times in my own life where my immediate experience had more distractions than the internet. These are interesting times we live in

Only you can see the glow of your own inner light, your inner source of inspiration. You can follow that light like a beacon in the darkness or shy away from its awe-inspiring glory.

At times this has even infuriated myself as those of my oldest friends who can only be described as ignorant to the reality and workings of life and nature, seemed blissfully ignorant to the illogical and corrupt aspects to many of these answers. At times this blissful ignorance seems enviable.... But these temporary but overwhelming frustrations with the realities of my, and our, environment are completely overshadowed by the joy and inner peace I receive from achieving a logical, reasonable and intuitively correct perspective on a matter that 90% of the population has incorrectly been instructed to accept an alternative perspective as truth. And the glaring fallacies of these ‘beliefs’ is all that is required to show my consciousness the limitations that are able to unknowingly be placed upon the mind, our very essence through these grossly incorrect ‘known facts.’
But the pain of the inescapable reality of our environment and the inevitable and inescapable consequence of its nature do weigh heavy on those who truthfully understand this reality and also understand there is nothing that can be done about it at this stage and only the joy of our small circle of existence is achievable. One should naturally still be compelled to do good wherever he can though. Not for reimbursement or personal gain hut because there is no other way one should desire to conduct oneself. Giving the slightest degree of joy to another is the single greatest joy one can experience. Even if others are completely unaware of our involvement. But one must ensure he does not allow himself to be repeatedly treated in the opposite manner by the majority of people one encounters or one will become disillusioned with nature of people. Always treat others you meet how you wish to be treated yourself, first and without reason, if this respect and consideration is not reciprocated then this is not a decent and worthy person you want to be surrounding yourself with. Simply take your circle elsewhere, no reciprocation of the needlessly destructive conduct is necessary. *This must not be confused with a fear of emotional/physiological/physical confrontation if this is required. (One must be able to calmly accept that he would give his life to protect his loved ones, and if given no quarter by an aggressor after them having been afforded every possibility of opportunity for disengagement, then one must allow the first strike to come from the aggressor and at which point this strike is avoided and one must throw the last strike or die trying....

Then in the late 40 or early 50’s in Cumran the Dead Sea scrolls were found and there was the book of Isiah. All thru the Bible God promises Israel will in one day become a nation and Jews from all around the world will return to their homeland. May 14,1948 Israel was reestablished in one day where 9 million have returned. Then we Have Jesus Christ died and came back to life. Only God could perform something this awesome.
