I love your calm down kit Melissa! Being conscious of your kiddos reading level and suppling your kit with books they will be able to read is so important! Also cutest chinchilla?? mouse? stuffy ever! 😍

Put your keep calm friend in a ziplock bag so they can still hug!!! Plus the sounds would be a good tool to use to calm down, what noise does it make see if you can make it quiet or louder also they could make a song with the sounds!

I bought the same erasers and containers for them! I am using them for math and I'll put them into ten frames :)
There's so many fun uses for the erasers, and those containers are the perfect size! :)

Thank you! It's so funny because in the clip you can kind of see them peeking from behind the screen, but the camera picked that up SO much better than my eyes were able to!!!!

Oh, I am 100% a puddle, especially with sweaty, post-recess kiddos!!! Luckily we only have a week or two max that are hot by the time we start school!

Hi Ciara! Thanks so much for watching! :) Donors Choose is an organization where teachers can submit projects and family, friends, businesses, or anyone at all can donate to the project. It costs nothing to post and you are able to choose materials from a variety of websites. If your project gets funded, all of the materials are delivered to your school and you submit a thank you package that goes out to anyone who donated! I've had a couple of projects funded and it's been such a blessing for my students! :)

I graduated from Myers Park HS back in February, and was going to start college this year, but with COVID, I am skipping this year and will start next year! I’m planning on teaching 3rd grade in 5 years, once I graduate from college! And this is usually my 2nd year of being the 2nd and 3rd grade Lifegroup leader at my church’s 2nd campus, I live next door to! I love working with kids in this age group!!

Hi Diana! I bought a digital wallpaper to make them. I have my cards for sale on my TPT store if you are interested, though the watercolors for sale vary slightly in color. :)

Where did you get your baskets for you bookshelves?! I’ve been looking for something to organize all my books but all the baskets I’ve found are either not big enough for books or way too expensive 😄
