Fun Fact :
Remember S&S Wooden coaster and Alan Schilke thing? It basically has RMC layout and forces if you recreated it at Nolimits 2
The difference was just, if RMC success carried by Ibox track durability and smoothness, S&S didn't have that kind of convenient. So ALL S&S wooden coaster were flop because the train tried so bad to rip the wooden rail apart, to the point they install tons of trim brake (and resulting in both rough and boring ride)
Now you know why Alan Schilke out of nowhere could designed NTG to be a world class coaster at that time despite seemingly having only work on 4D coaster
I feel like the S&S axis is definitely the new version of the arrow suspended coaster.
Do you mean that they will have to have very carefully designed elements or risk ripping themselves apart within 2 years and only the tame ones will survive?

you forgot to and or didnt mention Steel Curtain at all. Curtain is one of if not the best coasters they ever built and was also mentioned as the biggest coaster they've made! wich was designed by Joe Davis!

Stan Checketts designed rides for the infamous Action Park in New Jersey before he founded S&S.
Personally I always loved the uniqueness of Sequoia Adventure (Gardaland). Sad to see it gone.
There’s one S&S coaster that’s mostly forgotten about, twist coaster robin, the coaster was the shortest coaster to ever live, you thought ring racer was bad!? This el loco lasted only one day, basically what happened was the anti rollback failed and it crashed into another train and the ride never opened again
What I want to know is, why isn't any parks buying the new S&S spinning cars for their towers?

Just, Joe Draves dosn't work with S&S anymore. They got an in-house designer now, responsible for instance of the Axis layouts (a very nice and talented dude I got to meet at IAAPA)

Alan Schilke also is the one behind the 4D free spins. I believe he said that was his original intention with X until Six Flags wanted something more insane. Of course, once he started working with RMC he had their track available to him and the new version was born.
He also designed the Axis prototype. So even tho Joe Draves took over for him and is designing all the new S&S and RMC projects....that Axis is still gonna have Schilke's handprints all over it
You forgot to mention Ring Racer, one of the biggest fiascos in the rollercoaster industry.

I feel like the idea of the Free Spin was born out of the Screaming Squirrel. like let's take the Screaming Squirrel and put it on steroids kind of thing

I was SOOOOO disappointed with the free spin coaster and mainly because it spinned WAY to much and WAY to rough!! You said it right though that it looks amazing but that's it!!

They should rebrand them selves as arrow since they have the bame
Unpopular opinion, but Steel Curtain is a complete mechanical flop, and as far as modern coasters go, its not that complex, its basically a really big Arrow looper. I don't see it lasting past 2030 if they don't get the bugs worked out.
(They need a modern GG woodie in that spot, anyway. 🤷)

I've ridden Sequoia Adventure (The Screaming Squirrel at Gardaland) and yes, it was a pretty stupid and, more importantly, uncomfortable ride. All your weight was pressed on those hard ots and each inversion was downright painful. You could call it "sustained hangtime" but I called it "sustained agony". Oh, and capacity sucked, and it seemed like it was also a maintenance nightmare. So yeah, I'm not sad it got removed.
The Most Just Mediocre Manufacturer In My Eyes Although CCI Is Also Kinda Average
I haven't ridden all of them but shivering timbers, cornball Express, raven, and the legend are well above average.

@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od I really didn't care for the legend the first time I rode it, it gave me a headache and didn't do a lot it was a once a visit ride,2 years later it was like I my body understood how to ride and it was a lateral monster. Either that or the edibles I had got me relaxed enough for it.

It’s not even American centered. There are very little major S&S installments outside of china. I would love to see more work with S&S in Western Europe as well but it’s not happening right now.
