I watched the film Tristan & Isolde three weeks ago for the first time. Went into it knowing nothing about James Franco, the actor and personality, and so brought no bagage into watching him as Tristan. I watched the movie, sometimes obsessively, every day for two weeks at least. It's the most intensely romantic movie I've ever seen--no nudity in the love scenes make them all the more romantic.
I love the film, and adore the soundtrack; you my friend have brought to life the essence of this fable..of love lost, and life taken, for 'love's' sake...we can only but dream to be so loved in this life..
I was literally balling my eyes out at the end. They truly are tragic. To want someone so much but you can't have them, then when the chance finally comes, it slips thru your fingers so easily. Isolde should have left with Tristan when he first asked her to come with him in the boat on the beach. Ughh swear I'm gonna cry again.

I was in love like this once. Nothing else in the world matters. Everything about her is intoxicating. Her laugh, her smile, her scent. Even the way she sleeps. How I so desperately want to feel like this again.
while watching the movie I just couldn´t stop crying...cried really like a baby...when my mom went in, she looked at me as if I´ve lost my marbles...the only thing I could say was sobbing "it´s sooo saaad"...she left without any response but with a strange facial expression...hm what to think about this? ^^ in my opinion, James Franco as Tristan was the best ever! Sometimes only his facial expression made me cry...he is truly adorable!

To be moved so much by a film that you cry as though you are at a loss, or laugh hysterically or even detest the villian is the true mark of a great film. For you to then go and create this... my friend, you play too well with emotions not to pursue a career in the art. This is one of few films I can honestly say i cried when viewing. The problem is that with franco as lead, just his depiction of true heartbreak throughout made me weep all the heavier! Damn you for being so good! LOL Great job!
Such beautiful music in this movie. What seem impossible, turns out to be possible. I will not give up on us and I hope you feel the same way I do...forever

this movie is played so well i mean james franco seemed truly hurted and heart broken really this and titanic were the only movies that truly made me cry....i have to say that this movie won't be forgoten so quiqly

A sequel would have been dreamy to see. Sometimes things like this, you wish wouldn't end. Even if it's just a movie...
I liked his acting also. He did a great job. The end could've been more dramatic with Isolde dying by his side so they could at last in death been together.
i know! i felt so bad for him, but he handled it admirably. and despite them sneaking around, i felt awful for them too. they really couldn't help it. the whole situation was just...ugh. this movie will always make me cry. great vid. it made me all teary eyed all over again.
beauty, truly is a illusive thing.. lest it be a bygone world.. wherein as ages has flown in the dying wind... there can be lest as ages will go on, be a reminiscent, thought of such a tale as Tristan and Isolde.. thou, perhaps it is everlasting in the tongues of men, because it echo`s in the souls, hearts, mind.. of man alike, in any age or wisdoms grace.. in whose nature.. we can gaze and mourn in its fruitless beauty.
Titanic, A walk to remember, Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde... they all have one thing in common... which made them loved by viewers and tha incudes me. Thanks for the post. I hope somebody would upload the whole movie please.
Tristan and Isolde made me crie A LOT, not a lot of movies are able of making me cry... But this movie has different... I was... wow, I can't even explain it

Truth be told that I just saw this movie for the first time over the weekend and it really struck a chord with me. First of all, I'm drawn to the medieval setting and the tragic love story pierced my heart. For some strange reason, I found the sadness comforting.
all odds where against them...first he tries to win her and then wins her for another man and loses her...then he dies and never has her... even after the truth comes out... truly impossible! very sad...something can feel soo right, yet everything fights against it to make it seem wrong.
congratulations i love the film but every video i,ve watched on utube has had a poor taste in music music that didnt convay the tense love it was as one guy said sappy, but yours is the 1st that has a sense of that sadness it goes wityh this film perfectly

Perfect music video!! Ones made to instrumental songs are almost better than ones made to normal songs because these m.v.s actually follow a set pattern. No offense to anyone out there, but some of the other ones I've seen had clips that had nothing to do with the song. But this music video is quite good. Nice job!! 5 star, I'd say.

Exactly my thoughts. I can't get over this gorgeous film. It was beautifully made plus Franco and Myles have incredible on-screen chemistry.
