Why? Because through them l " KNEW " ISOLDE. And, at once, I was madly in love with HER!!! For some people it will look like silly, but, l don't care. I, perfectly, know the HAPPINESS and GRIEF this so beautiful feeling bears! Believe me. I keep the HAPPINESS, of course. ISOLDE is an IMMORTAL character, TIMELESS!! SHE WILL LAST FOR ALL ETERNITY!!! I agree. The legend made huge impact on western culture. Although there are variations of the story, the forbidden love between her and Tristan is really moving and timeless.
