A New Era | Meet the Canyon Stitched CFR Trial Bike

- Redefine what’s possible. Change the game. Those were the goals when we sat down together with Fabio Wibmer at the start of 2020 to discuss creating the next generation trials machine.
The Canyon Stitched CFR Trial is the result - a @fabiowibmer x Canyon collaboration that has produced a street trials bike unlike anything ever seen before. Oh, and yes- that is a carbon fibre frame!
Canyon‘s R&D team’s expertise in carbon engineering meant that the end goal was always to look beyond metal for the final frame and fork. But it would need to be unlike any carbon fibre we had used before - light and stiff yet bombproof enough to take the impacts from crashes and bails common to street trials. Adding a high strength material, from the aerospace industry, into the carbon layup created Canyon’s HIT (High Impact Technology) Composite. Extensively tested and proven to be tougher than aluminium bikes on bails and fails, the Stitched CFR Trial can take some serious hits.

Abgebildet ist auf jedem Foto ein SQLab Sattel + Sattelstütze und wenn man aufmerksam die Ausstattungauflistung anschaut, fällt auf, das weder SQLAb Sattel, noch Sattelstütze dabei sind!!! Sorry aber das geht gar nicht. Gerade bei dem Preis sollte das Bike auch die abgebildete Ausstattung haben!

I love the idea of an good trails bike but 2999€ for the bike? Is there an cheaper version in the future with not SQ lap stuff and with MT5 and 203 mm Matura Storm HC discs? This would be for the most riders out there an perfect trails bike.

yes i think so, too the bike is to expensive i become for 3000€ an brand new freeride bike with prettie good parts
Well it’s hard to find other brands for the brakes since Magura was the top choice of trials rider I think MT5 will lack some power.Also the cockpit was the main problem since Inspired bikes trials cockpit are other brand and putting it on a Canyon was just kinda meh maybe Canyon just come up with their inhouse made parts like their stem also the 24 inch rims was a head ache but overall the price was good people just broke thats why they complain about the price

This is Sick! To be frank I dont have that money yet but the price is pretty fair for the technology and parts on it. Price is not far from a high end inspired which is aluminium. I feel the real competitors will be Extension and Maestro.

I'm unable to find any info about this bike (Stitched CFR Trial) on Canyon's website. the link provided in the description takes you to Canyon's home page, and there does not appear to be anything up on the site that leads you to this bike ... even the sites search engine fails to provide any results. What's up with that? Is this bike going to be made available this year or not?

The Stitched CFR Trial has been developed to outlast anything on the market. We also offer our Stitched 720 and 360 as aluminium versions for sale. Please feel free to check out these models on our website.
@@CanyonBicycles since when the DJ models are recommended for trial :D...........they may look similar, but are so different.......you should have chosen another name and keep the stitched for the dj and slopestyle bike............. just my opinion that noone asked for :p

@@CanyonBicycles I can find the bike info on the Canyon page, unless I try view the US version of your site. There are quite a few bikes not listed on the US version of the site (this bike, the Stchd 360 Pro, Stchd 720, Torque 29 CF 9, etc.).
Not all models are also available in the USA. Please feel free to contact the colleagues in the US via the contact form on our website for further questions.

Würde ich niemals kaufen das Bike. Canyon hat Erstens keine gerade gute Qualität (kenne genug bei denen schon alles mögliche gebrochen ist), und außerdem was bringt es mit einem Hammer auf den Rahmen zu hauen, wenn die Belastungen im Alltag beim Üben ganz anders sind. Bin letztens bei Fahrradständern abgerutscht und mit dem Rahmen genau auf die Kante... Es war nichtmal ein großer Kratzer zu sehen aber bei dem Carbon hätte ich den Rahmen sicher wegwerfen können
