Can someone explain me how the angle between surface and the reflected wavefront = r
The sum of a triangle is equal to 180 degrees. We have a 90 degree and a (90-r) degree. For that reason the missing angle is equal to r because 90+(90-r)+M(missing angle)=180 => M=180-[90+(90-r)] => M=180-180+r => M=r. I hope that you find it helpful.

Because they're in the same medium.
Q. Light assummed a ray is for ray optics but here in wave optics, we still have rays together wavefront...🤷
AAA congruency rule would have been much easier to workout. But, anyway the video was wonderful.

Can't you do it with one ray? Why can't you draw a wave front with one light ray?
yes we can draw , becoz.. rays are perp to w.f but in this case we need to get the angles similar.. aand to make that simple we need to check for congruency.. hence 2 rays
moreover for a plane wf. we need to take parallel rays so..
There is nothing called one wave of light. Its always a wavefront according to huygens
