  • The slick Wheel Guard Max Coat makes it harder for dirt, brake dust, and road grime to stick to wheels and rims. We began by cleaning the wheel thoroughly with Diablo Wheel Gel which is compatible with all wheel finishes and gently removes corrosive particles of brake dust.
    Apply Max Coat Wheel Guard to repel brake dust and water drops while enhancing gloss.

    I purchased this product last year and I applied it to my winter rims before the winter arrived and I can say that cleaning them during the winter is a breeze. I highly recommend it. I started by claying the rims, compound, jet seal then I used wheel guard.

      I ordered this and Wheel Guard Wheel Wax by CG. Would I use the wax first then the max coat? What about if my wheels are ceramic coated?

    Another great video. Can you guys do a video of how you clean all of your used towels, mitts, rags, sponges, etc. Curious if you do more than just toss them in the washer. I bet others are curious as well. Cheers.

    I recently picked up this product along with your wheel guard wax. Which one should I use first? The wax or max coat? I also want to ceramic coat my wheels. Is it safe to apply your wheel wax and max coat on top of the ceramic coating for extra protection?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Joe! If the wheels were ceramic coated with Carbon Flex C9, you may apply the wax first then Max coat. If the wheels were coated with a different coating, we recommend contacting the manufacture and ask if it is top able. Happy detailing!

    Why not use the back wax on black painted wheels or could you put max coat on top of back wax?

    How do you recommend cleaning up black wheels with swirl marks? The previous owners was negligent in maintaining them properly. Plus this is my first vehicle with black wheels.

    • @ChemicalGuys

      Hey there! Any surface that is in directly sunlight can be damaged by UV rays. Ceramic, sealant and wax will prevent future damage.
