This really depends on your business model. I would strategic use pricing that is fair based on the cost of the product. So, depending on the product, stick to a % margin.

I have a question about the payment system. When someone orders from my shopify do I get the money in my bank from shopify that second? Then printify take out the production cost? Or does the produiction cost come first then i get back more? Im just a little fuzzy on how that works comsidering i dont have a lot of upfront capital. - Thank You
When a product is purchased you will make the payment for the product cost. The money from the customer will take some time depending on your payment gateway that you use.

Make sure your settings are correct inside of Prinify.
How to do you handle shipping rates among different vendors? Some combined shippings are crazy! For instance a t-shirt ( $4.75 shipping) and a pillow ( almost $10.00 shipping) I have the printify calculator with printify that is integrated with Shopify that calculates the shipping at check out.
But I would like to customize shipping since that is too high. Any thoughts? Thanks.

1/ Choose which product mockup from Printify we want to keep?
2/ add our own mockups in addition to the ones we'd keep from Printify ?(maybe within Shopify directly?)
Also, I'm assuming that we'd have to create our collections on the shopify store beforehand so Printify would know where to publish the products, correct?

Yes to both those questions. Ideally, yes you want to setup collections, tags etc inside your store.
i have a question. i know zendrop does costume packiging but does printify not? they only make a costume product for you but when it’s shipped, you can’t design the packaging?

When I input my Shopify URL into Printify, instead of connecting the store that I want to, Printify creates an entirely new store and connects to that one! Obviously not ideal because I have all my designs on the original store, not the newly created one. Any help here is appreciated!! thank you!

Hey Stewart, how does it work when someone wants to buy something on our regular site, but then adds a printify provided t-shirt to their order. Do they pay shipping twice since it's coming from two places? Are we to add the shipping costs directly into the retail price? Yes correct, they will have to pay the different shipping options. Yes you can setup custom pricing if you like based on groped items etc.
wow, I didn't think you replied to every comment but you did. My question is, to get my store started I have to pay on shopify and printify? or just shopify and use free printify version, or can I just do everything on Printify? Also, does the business pay the taxes at the end of the year, or does that get paid by the printing company? just trying to understand if I should save a % of every order for tax purposes. Just Shopify. Printify is free and you only pay the cost of the product. In terms of tax this depends on your country. Typically you would just pay tax on the profit margins you make above the cost that you pay for the product.
If a customer orders from my shopify store which is connected to printify. Will printify automatically send the product to the customer or I have to order for them?

When a customer adds a product on my shopify page would it be sent to prinitify? I have connected shopfiy to printify before creating products how am I sure that printify would recognize the products from my shopify store and what the print provider I would like, If i don't also create on printify? Your welcome! I suggest you create your products on Printify and integrate with Shopify then if you want to make changes, then do this on the Shopify back end.

Stewart, is it at all possible to get products directly from Amazon via a ' print on demand ' company. Amazon has such a large selection of products at good prices and multiple colours. This would be great to upload to my Shopify store. Problem with Amazon Merch is this seems to be limited to the select few.....barrior to entry a continental mission!! Any tips. thanks Anthony.

You would do this in-house and deal with the supplier and customers from inside Printify.
What customer service ? I know nothing about this set up but assumed printify/shopify would have that covered. But no ? Seller deals with suppliers and customers ?

Hey just a question, I wanted to sell an item with a lot of variants so I imported them. The issue is with the images, the variant images show all together even without selecting the variant. How do i fix this? i dont want customers have 92 images for a product if they only select one variant haha thanks!

Does Printify follow the same business model as Printful?
How Printful works is, consider a t-shirt costs $25(including shipping, etc). When a customer places the order, he pays that entire $25 to us, and then Printful deducts the printing/shipping/order fulfillment charges of $15 from our bank account later on through Paypal or Card.

Welcome! You can add the option to customize on Shopify. However, the POD process will be more manual for you.

You pay for the cost which includes the shipping unless you pass that onto the customer.

Yes they do. There is a policy in place per supplier.

Hi buddy! A very informative video however I still have some confusions. The total cost that we pay for the product to sell is too much, if we want to sell this hoodie we have to pay around 50 dollars ($25 for production, $19 for shipping to US and some taxes). If we see our competitors they would be selling hoodies on around 25-35 dollars. The how can we sell our product with such high costs? Please i need help!

Yes that can be the case depending where you are located and the supplier that you choose. Make sure you look at all the different suppliers and see who is the best choice for your business based on cost, quality and proximity.

Hi, your thumbnails look too busy, I'd make a plain background and choose a few big key words. some print is too small to see so there's no need for it. You content is great and needs to stand out.
I'm giving this advice while haven't figured out myself how to add thumbnails. But when I will, that's how I'd do it.

Yes correct. Printify is free, you can use with free platforms too. Shopify is a paid ecommerce builder.

But what you are not telling people is that Printify charges the seller first. So if you don't have a big line of credit, it is impossible to succeed. If a client buys a product from you, printify charges you first before the money of the client reaches you. Imagine you sold 1000 products in one day. Printify charges you first. So it is a catch 22.

Yes you need to pay for the product first. However, the money from the customer is collected based on the payment providers you have. There is very low risk.
@@StewartGauld I chatted with Printify. They charge you first. You as a seller has to wait for the money of the client to come. In short, you need money or a line of credit to start because Printify will always charge you first and you wait for the money from the client which can take up to 7 business day to land in your account. Most people promoting Printify in youtube are affiliate marketers who want a piece of the pie from subscribers. Once they know that Printify will charge them first, they will be discourage as it is risky and not low risk.
