Nice one again Ed , sounds great totally standard 👍 just changed the supermoto wheels off my xr4 to the standards for the winter . Just sometimes wish it had a bit more go like the 650 😁😁😁 . You selling this one ?👍
Cheers Wattie! Yeah totally standard, even the exhaust baffle that's why it sounds a bit crap lol. Huge difference in power between the 400 and 650 but I think you need both ... 400 for off road, 650 for hooning on road. And it sold yesterday! Same fella and his lad who bought my 600R last month.
Nice one Ed 👍 what’s the next project then for you ? As you say 400 great for what it is me at for off-road and some on road single track roads it’s superb with the SM wheels on 👍👍 nice fast sale 👍😊
@@wattie1050 Maybe another XR650R! A mate of mine wants me to go through his and make sure it's all good so that'll keep me busy. I have an R100GS that needs to be sold at some point so might do a vid for that soon. I'm getting sick of all these bikes lol. Keep your 400 though, I reckon that's the best XR they did (if using it as intended).
Terrible thing that Ed too many bikes 🤣🤣 the xr is defo a keeper . I have the 701 supermoto as well now 🤔 but a third bike might be needed for road trips further afield the speed twin triumph I’m looking at !!
Lol I know, been selling loads of the collection recently, hence so many vids, because I can't be bothered with the upkeep. And it sounds like you need a 1992 R100GS! The perfect bike for trips further afield and you'll look cool doing it (Can't go wrong with a speed twin either to be fair).
The power these things throw out is like nothing else. Lovely raw torque. I've been selling loads from my 'collection' recently, this one just sold yesterday and only have a few left now :(
@@edwards0matic Yes , I had a ride on my friend's XR650 , very impressive power , and with a gutted muffler, it had a glorious note , it had also been fitted with some special "Scott Summers " parts, although I can't remember what those parts were now. Have you still got that lovely little '76 CR 125 Elsinore ?
@@barrycuda3769 Definitely, if you put the opened up 'HRC' exhaust baffle in it sounds like thunder, but it's a bit loud for all the old people in bungalows around Yorkshire. And yes I do! Though the CR is so nice it's on display in my spare bedroom lol. That'll have to be sold at some point as well unfortunately.
Thats a great looking bike you got there 🔥
The gaze at the beginning.... contemplation before ignition & lift-off.
😅 Exactly that.
Beautiful bike makes me think if my xr 125 i got hit off of
Cheers, sorry to hear about your xr125 though.
C'est un 2003 ! j'ai le meme avec ...2700 kms !

Looks like a nice clean one , 2000 bike ?
Cheers, close it's a 2001 .. though it has 2002 style graphics
@@edwards0matic you changed seat aswel ? As its not a 2001 seat cover ?
@@Rust_valley_racing Yeah the seat is 2002 onwards as well. The 2001 seat is all red and has XR in white on the side.
