MILLENNIAL ALFA ROMEO l 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale

For the company's first launch in 5 years, the #Tonale will be the smallest #Alfa on sale in the USA and the model designed to go head to head with the #X1 and #X2 from #BMW. The #Tonale oozes Alfa, from the iconic tri-logo front face and push-to-start on the steering wheel to the telephone wheels and the curves on the body. Alfa even added different modes for the dash, including their heritage mode that reflects #Alfa back in the 50's. How many Alfa DNA marks can you spot on this mini SUV?
With a 1.3L motor up front and a 90kw motor in the back, producing 285 hp and 1,844 pound feet of torque, standard all wheel drive, and the only plug-in-hybrid system in the segment, the #Tonale will certainly make a statement...if the color doesn't do that already. This is the first electrified Alfa on the market. A big step for them. I think the 31 miles of pure electronic #autonomy is an important aspect because it means most folks can communte to and from work without ever having to use gas.
We don't know pricing yet, but expect it to be one of the best deals in the bunch.

No, it looks like Dodge was allowed to "borrow" Alfa Romeo design and features for their new Hornet. This was an Alfa- directed project from the get-go. Dodge has all the advantages in the American market, including dealer count, advertising and price; the Tonale will be ignored.
