Great movie. On a whim I decided to ride through the cemetery one day. Normally I would just pass by it. And as I always have two Canon cameras with me I took a few photos. Then on my way home I stopped there again. And since that day, that is my normal routine. Two visits. And a few photos. If you head over to Flickr, just search for Steffe, which is my user name. The album is called, and you probably guessed it, Skogskyrkogården.
@@SteffeHello. Sorry to bother you. But on your visits to the cemetery, did you get to see the tomb where Avicii is buried? I'm a fan of his and I saw that he was buried there in Skogskyrkogården, but I never saw anything about his grave.
I am absolutely amazed at how beautiful Sweden is. To be completely honest, it has been on my bucket list for a long time, but somehow I have been putting it aside. However, I am a big fan of this, keep creating videos like this because it is truly relaxing to watch a walking tour through Sweden spots. Thank you again and I wish you all the best :)
It's a really beautiful place, that's for sure. I saw that you mentioned the tv series "Six Feet Under" The end scene was one of the saddest I've ever seen in a tv series. 😭 Thank you for the pretty summer walk. 💙
Thank You so much for this informative video: it has all I need to know before my trip over there next summer. I'll keep it and watch it over and over. 👍
11:22 the doors are locked from the outside. You have to enter through the wooden door to the left! They are often closed due to funeral ceremonys but sometimes You can get in. So the big doors get to be opened for the grieving relatives when the ceremony is over.
Is this a repost or have I seen someone else do a cemetery walk before here on TH-cam? Anyway, an incredible cemetery. I have been to Stockholm so many times but never visited it. It's a shame. A good walking video as usual.
@@StockholmWalks Oh, one of my favorite tv shows, great writing and acting! Can't believe it's already twenty years... I guess it's true, the older you get the faster time flies
I got it! Apparently, there are two Swedens on the planet: in the northern and southern hemispheres. In the north it is snowy and cold. The southern hemisphere is warm and green. It is very expensive to constantly fly to these countries for video filming 🌏✈️😊
I have relatives buried there. Brings back memories. Thanks for sharing.
💙
Truly beautiful cemetery. No wonder it’s a UNESCO heritage site. Thanks for the walk.
It’s a calm place, but wouldn’t be a priority if I visited Stockholm- I sometimes see it as a top recommendation am for tourists which surprises me
My favorite place. I have taken 370 photos here since starting a photo project in October of 2021.
Sounds like an interesting project! Any resemblance to that 1990’s movie Smoke?

Such a magnificient place.
Glad you liked it!
The Sun ☀️☀️☀️ Shine 💐💐💐
Nice to se a bit of sun
Thank you again for another amazing walk!!
You’re very welcome
Thank you what a lovely vid!!! Legend!
Ha ha- legend sounds a bit over the top for a walk in a cemetery 😉

Oh, I don’t remember the end scene… hm, is it time y to I re-watch the whole thing perhaps…
@@StockholmWalks it's a good series! You should!

Glad you liked it! But do visit some other places in Stockholm while you’re here 😉
Thanks for answering! Of course I will visit other places: there are plenty and I'm watching you tube for advice and previews! Thanks again!
@@paolazuffinetti good, wouldn’t do to be stuck at the cemetery 😂
@@StockholmWalks Hej! Thanks so much for your kind reminder and for taking the time to reply. I look forward to visiting all the beautiful areas, too.
Nice day for walk 🙂
Yes, but it did actually start to rain

Yes, the first part of the walk is the end of a previously published walk
Thanks for introducing these archaeological sites🙏👍
Things I didn’t notice about my hometown until I got old enough I think…
You walked past Asplund's grave at 6:15, on the wall to the right.
I know! Unfortunately I didn’t know when I wrote the captions!
Eventually we all end up six feet under, so let's enjoy life as much as we can while still on the "upper" side.
Very important! Do you also happen to like the tv show “six feet under “?

What a good Arab fan you have. And I'm your Russian fan
Hi there Russian friend
I believe the family wanted it to be private. So I have not seen the grave. There is a memorial place though, at Humlegården.
For Asplund? I didn’t know that!
No, sorry, I thought I was answering a question about Avicii. I know where Asplund is buried

But seriously, everything is clean and tidy. The sun, thunderclouds and wind only emphasized the specifics of the location
I’m on that plane like a boomerang 😉
