Aldi has cracked it for sausages. The top of the range ones are excellent, no shrinkage or fluids coming out, great taste and texture. Yes I do have a local butcher who does them better, but they're twice the price. Aldi's are the best supermarket ones. Now, top tip, boil sausages for 10 minutes then just brown them in a pan or under the grill. A surprising difference!

That sandwich is just the ticket on a chilly Friday. I've tried the just Pork variety of those Aldi sausages and they're very tasty, especially with some chips and beans or a nice potato waffle :) Sometimes it's the simple things that make us happy 👍
Always had sausage meat stuffing made with plain sausage meat mixed with sage and onion stuffing mix. The dry mix ensures that the fat and juices from the pork get absorbed and is not overly greasy. Had this since over 59 year ago, it's banging with Christmas Dinner.
They look very tasty indeed. I've got to have brown sauce on too. You're looking very suave Gareth. It's a chilly night here. The fire has just been lit to get thawed out. We're expecting heavy snow tomorrow. Have you any snow yet? Take good care 😊👍
Here in South Africa the sausages would be half their original size by the time you'd cooked them. It seems that they pump our sausages so full of water and they have so much fat in them that there's virtually nothing left when they're cooked. Sure; you can get better quality but nowhere near the price that you paid; they looked proper.
