I can’t get over how clear this tutorial is and how simple this pattern is! I thought making slipper boots would be complicated but your tutorial makes it seem so doable! And now I have an excuse to get some 5 weight yarn lol!
Oh GOOD, thank you so much! I have 328 yards of a #5 weight my friend picked out for slippers, and I've been looking all morning for a tutorial that will fit those specs. Of course I found it on your channel, Alysha! Should have came right here first, that'll teach me, lol!
These look awesome. I'm going to give them a try if they can look at half as good as the ones you just made I'll be in heaven. I'll make a pair of these for everybody I know, these will be Christmas gifts for next year.
If you put the patterns on the video it’s more easily when you work on it that way it’s easy for some people to follow up and learn from its. Thank you so much.
I remember these slipper boots from Saturday's livestream. Thanks you for making the tutorial so user friendly. I love those new lion brand yarn colors too.
I appreciate how thorough your instructions are 💕 they help me understand the "why" we're doing something a certain way. instead of memorizing a pattern I'm learning how to adjust my project according to my needs 😁 thank you for sharing all these awesome tutorials!!
What a great slipper! Thank you for sharing! Making them for Christmas gifts but wanted to use yarn I already had(which is ALOT!) No bulky yarn so I just made each foot with two for thickness and it works!!
This a great project. Thank you for making this free pattern available to us. Also, I have to say your finishing techniques are outstanding. I haven't had time for projects lately but I can't wait to try the techniques you have shared on this channel when I get back to my crochet. I am already subscribed and will be sure to share your channel with other people I know who crochet as well. Thanks again for the awesome content.
Hello I hope all is well with you and your family. Thank you for an amazing tutorial. They look really cute and comfortable! Stay Safe. Blessings and Respect! 👍🏾🙏🏾💞
Absolutely love these slipper boots...just a little confused as to the toe section when you join in the yarn and work on 7 blsc...then do the 8 sc...then 8 blsc? Why 1 less stitch before the 8 sc of the sole than after
Thank you so much for this! I’m making these for my mom and my boyfriend’s mom for christmas! I have a question for you: how did you attach the faux fur pom pom’s Did your hand sew them to the laces?
Two balls of yarn should be enough for this week. And also you ever thought about putting soles on the bottom to ware outside case you have to run to the store. Lol
I love this as a Christmas gift. I started doing this pattern, but before I closed, I came up with a idea to add a flip flop to the bottom. How do you think that will look. Please give me some feedback. ❤
Hi Little John ❤️ , I have a question ❓ I have a size 11 in women's and a number 4 weight yarn do I need to make extra rows for my boots to accommodate my feet size?
How many rows would you add onto the sides and sole for someone who is shoe size 9.5 and a size large in body? I am unable to measure the person I’m making this for because I am making this as a present
Yes, it will. I'm unable to give you the correct count without reworking the pattern. This is a super thick #5 bulky yarn. If you only have worsted weight yarn. Try holding 2 thin versions of worsted weight (ex lion brands pound of love) Then check your gauge. If it matches, go ahead & start the pattern.
Note to self- Had to add two rows to the calf part. 2:55 row 2 of 12 row repeat finished. 10:03 I needed to add 2 extra rows so instead of repeat 6 it was repeat 8
So how do the heel of the boot fit so snug on the picture, but it's still a square fit once you sew it down from the top to the bottom in the back? If you know pls help me out with that.
If I'd want to make it shoe size 13 can I just do the same only with more rows? Maybe start with 100 chains to start? (My partner can't find fluffy socks in his shoe size so I want to make him some je has size 13 lol)
Cute slipper boots - added to my to do list......my only problem is that I find it hard to get things the same size when I need to make more than one, I don’t know why but it always happens......any tips and tricks to keep them the same sizes would be most welcome 🙏🏼 help - please - anyone - thank you for the tutorial x
My tip is to make them on the same day. Our crochet mood changes daily. My tension varies if I'm anxious or relaxed. This is a problem all crochet have, lol. Also, if I am making a pair for myself. The first one is always bigger because I am stretching it when I try it on.
This problem drives me bananas! The last pair of slippers that I crocheted, I decided to do them both at the same time (I used each end of a giant skein of yarn). I did one row of one slipper, then one row on the other. End result: two perfectly matched slippers. Also didn't have to make notes of stitch count in order to reproduce the second slipper!
Hi, I was wondering what is the purpose of changing one after single crocheting in the back loops? I always come up with an uneven number.? Can I just skipped chaining one? Your video is very confusing. I need to end up with 68 chains all the time right ? So why do I end up with 70 chains ? Is it from chains one ? Please explain

Cute. I have to get some yarn
The yarn is super luscious!
I just love this idea. I’m going to make some I just have to buy some pom poms. Not sure if I can buy them in my area.

I want to make these for my two granddaughters they are a size 38 [ 7 1/2 ] shoe will this small size be good thank you love these

I need make it for me size 38 can you help me?
Does the yarn have to be the lion brand hue + me or will any 5 worsted weight yarn work?
wow great!! but when i have to make them cuz of my healt size 11 is to small how many more SC do i have to start with really wanna make thise
Love these this definitely will be my next project. If I use a 4 weight yarn instead of 5 will this change the chain count?
Yes, it will. I'm unable to give you the correct count without reworking the pattern. This is a super thick #5 bulky yarn. If you only have worsted weight yarn. Such a cute boot, thanks! ?Question? How do you attach the pom-pom to the ends of the tail chains?
My pom poms had a tiny loop at the top of them. I tied one end of the yarn to it
So how do the heel of the boot fit so snug on the picture, but it's still a square fit once you sew it down from the top to the bottom in the back? If you know pls help me out with that.
I saw your first ever vid how to double crochet
That video still has low views, lol. I've improved a little since then 😉 Thank you so much for watching.
If I'd want to make it shoe size 13 can I just do the same only with more rows? Maybe start with 100 chains to start? (My partner can't find fluffy socks in his shoe size so I want to make him some je has size 13 lol)
I can't wait to make these! How much yarn was required to make these slipper boots?
I used 300 -325 yards of #5 bulky yarn
@@LittlejohnsYarn Thanks so much for your super quick answer!!
This is an amazing tutorial! But not made for large calves!😅

How can I adjust this using worsted weight (4) yarn?
Are the Small, Medium, & Large sizes for adult females or males?
😊😊😊😊
and if u didnt want to add pompoms? cant just leavem it laying there how u attch them
Gotta make these 💜💜💜💜💜. What size are the ones you made?

@@LittlejohnsYarn thank you for responding. I’m between sizes. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe. How long should I make my chain?

The yarn that you have used is it basically 8 ply
mine wont go in stitches for lace to thick
The needle with placid eye is a weavers needle
Are the sizes women's or men's? I have 260 yards of a #5 but idk if it'll be enough for a size 11 women's
They are women's size. I used be 250 yards for a size medium. I don't think you will have enough.
@@LittlejohnsYarn bummer ☹️

Scrap this idea completely. No matter what I do...even using stitch markers and a counter...it doesn't work out. Even reading the pattern...total fail
Totally agree, just not working
