Fixing Water Damaged Remote FOB | 2021 Jeep Wrangler

I took my rental Jeep remote snorkeling in Kona Hawaii and here are instructions on helping you get back on the road.
You will need a small screw driver and a container with rice to help remove the moisture from the remote.
Once the FOB is free of any moisture, you will more than likely need to replace the battery.

Thank you! Worked like a charm. I didn't have rice, so just hung it in front of a fan for a couple of hours, bought a replacement battery and installed it. It worked perfectly!

I currently have the exact same problem. I am in Hawaii, and went snorkeling with it in my pocket for about 10 minutes. I also went to Longs and got a new battery, I also left it in rice taking apart overnight in a bag. Now mine works but incorrectly, when I hit the lock button the alarm goes off.
