I have used this vaccum for about an year. It does decent job on the Eco mode while High Power mode is very good. The downside to it is that the battery life significantly shortens on High power mode. Best part of this vaccum is that almost every parts can be disassembled and washed/cleaned and not to forget that the battery can be replaced unlike many other brands. I wish the dust cup was bit bigger. Overall excellent value for money.
How was your experience with the G10 in SA, if I may ask? Best place to get one? Was considering this Xiaomi G10 model instead of the Dreame V10 from Takealot.
So far so good with this vacuum. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
Well I can only compare with the Dyson V10 we have (No lasers like the newer one!) they are similar but the Xiaomi as you said has a much better price. But, in terms of battery, I get about 40~ minutes in max mode compared to the 9 minutes here... though I'm not sure about the strength difference between the 2 But the Xiaomi allows battery replacements which the Dyson lacks. Sadly when we wanted to buy the Dyson V10, the comparable Xiaomi version for that time just came to our country and I wasn't still sure about it, but after few months I only heard good things about it
Hey, quite interesting to read some real-life feedback about the V10 usage. Dyson is Dyson - and the V10 is a brilliant one. Have you checked if batteries are easily replaceable?
@@TechMishka Well it's integrated so in order to replace it you have to disassemble the whole thing I guess, but... It will be easier after what I did recently :-) My next 2 videos will probably be interesting (hope I won't jinx myself, didn't edit them yet and I have a short vacation in between which might cause delays)
I think the best feature for xiaomi is that it is lighter than the Dyson ones. Indeed now Dyson dropped a lighter model, but the battery is the same as xiaomi's so the difference remains only the price. To vacuum 30min with something 2-3 times lighter really makes the difference.
Which vacuum from the Dyson series would this be comparable to? In Australia, the pricing for the G10 is similar to the Dyson V7 Animal Origin, both at sale price.
I still find that the emptying of the bin is to messy. I would love to see some brand innovating it. Would be super convenient if there would be eco-friendly dust bag that you could just throw away or at least empty it the way that there wouldn't be big cloud of dust flying around.
i wonder how long the battery lasts as for the capacity. I have another brand similar style vacuum stick and after exactly of 2,5 years (out of warranty of course now) the battery on full charge lasts now 1,5 min making it unsable. So I wonder how it is with all these battery vacuums. Does always the capacity of the battery drop after some time?
Yes, battery technology isn't quite there yet. There is always degradation over time. 90 seconds after 2.5 years sounds like the battery went bad though. It shouldn't degrade that much unless it's not li-ion or is using low grade cells.

@@TechMishka just placed order. I will make a video after using couple of month. Bought it with 199 euro, with 36 month interest free install, 5.6 euro/ month. I like the vaccum, but concern about battery since I saw lots of negative review of battery in amazon. Also i would hv like the model like Xaomi k10 which has top filter removal unlike G10. Lets see, I hope I will this G10 as well.
Dopo aver visto una decina di video in italiano, sostanzialmente inutili perché si limitano a leggere le istruzioni, ho trovato in questa recensione lo sbocco del serbatoio per pulire il filtro. Grazie ❤
So glad it helped you. The vacuum is awesome.
It will be a problem if there are no spare parts for the battery when its performance has decreased.
Might be. Yeah
Tengo mi vaccum pero me está haciendo ruido las ruedas y tiene un mes de comprada alguien sabe por qué puede ser?
Add some grease.
150air watts the dyson v15 has 250 air watts
230 as far as I remember - and indeed - quite powerful. 150 vs 230 for airwatts; 220EUR vs 650EUR in terms of price.
I have the dyson v15 detect that I bought for $600 but the dyson is made better and it has loads of attachment that come in the box and you won’t be cleaning filters regularly on the dyson due to the very good cyclonic system and the dyson comes with the laser fluffy head and the partical reader on the screen
@@kacperPawlik-z5h yes and partical reader is just bullshit and i tested already in some stores the fluffy laser this is really bad...its just a fucking shit light and nobody need that...nobody is cleaning in the dark and its not lighting enough when its day time so lol
here he is talking about one of the best performance/price package you can find...dyson is just for people who are thinking they are more important than other peoples is like Apple users haha you are just marketing victims XD
@@MyAkikan well I’m an apple user
I got battery problem after 5 months
Ouch! What's the status now? Not working at all?
Mi is a bad product. My battery just give a code error 7. Does charger at all. And Mi wouldn't help.
With in months of purchasing the unit the battery is not charging... Huh... Waste of money
This is terrible to hear! Did you try the troubleshooting procedures in the user guide? And did you try getting in touch with Xiaomi's support to ask for solutions?
@@TechMishka tried to reach out the support staff... No reply yet... Hopefully they can get back..also nothing much mentioned for the battery not recharging in troubleshooting procedures.. Or did i miss it?
I am hearing some strong east European accent ... Am I right
True that!
Через месяц использования сломался. Сдал в сервис-центр. Хочу Dyson
Ouch! Sorry to hear about your experience. Which is the part that broke?
@@TechMishka Error 1 and then Error 3 and after that has died totally
Roborock h7 or xiaomi g10
I like the G10 better.
@@TechMishka Thank you, i was considering roborock because it says it's lighter than g10, overall I like g10
i think jimmy's are much better...they are xiaomi's more powerful and/or better price and have swappable batteries (that is the only thing that always fails in handheld vacuum cleaners)
The G9/G10 also have a swappable battery.
Maybe you mean Dreame? As far as I remember - Jimmy are not part of the Mi ecosystem. Or I'm wrong?
@@TechMishka All jimmys (not only handheld vacuums) are XIAOMI products
Just bought for 199€
Great deal indeed!
I will stick to my Dyson animal!
Which Dyson model do you have?
ERROR 7 & BYE
Ouch!
Warranty?
dude, u spent 1 min 40 secs talking. i hv to wait till u talk abt the actual product review
There's a flow in most of my videos, and I think it's quite a structured one. Not everyone knows as much as you do, and different people have different priorities - therefore I try to make content that will be easy to understand and follow for as many people as possible. I hope that the part after 1:40 was at least somewhat helpful. Thanks for the feedback too!
Are you kidding!?!? This dude is doing a review for you to effortlessly watch on youtube while you scratch your crotch, thus saving you the trouble of going all the way to the shop and trying out the product yourself, and you're irritated by a 1'40 minute wait.. . Geeezzz🙄
suction power is so weak
Compared to?
skip to 2:00, this guy babbles on and on
Fair enough.
Skip the 2' and go down to the shop yourself and try the product, you'll probably waste less time... 🙄 *sarcasm *
I couldn't bare the accent and the tone of your voice. Sorry
your comment is uncalled for. skip the video or give it a thumbs down. But stop critizing something about a person that they cant do anything about. Thats just mean, but you knew that :-)
Yet you took the time to comment and openly criticize. What a sad little life you have man. For real
There always is the option to keep things muted and read the captions 🥳
Still - thanks for stopping by and hopefully you will find something useful in the content here some day.
@@TechMishka don’t listen to this dickhead. You did your best accent and were speaking clearly.
I like this man accent. I dont see any problem.
