Morning Chris, great presentation of you Joni Collection. Love the artwork and pictures on these albums which represent her so well… Clouds is a beauty… Enjoy rest of your week ✌🏼
Hi Chris!! You have a cool Joni Mitchell collection and i think she's right in your music alley as you're a big fan of that style of music..... and the boxset looks so cool too, hope the new one is what fans deserve as a product. cheers and be well
Great video, and sweet Joni collection. My 3 faves by her are... Blue, Clouds, and The Hissing Of Summer Lawns. And Turbulent Indigo is a fantastic album. Cheers.
Hi Chris thank you for sharing your great collection of Joni Mitchell vinyl.. I have streamed Joni’s albums before perhaps it’s time for me to maybe add some of her albums to my collection. I hope all is well.
Great overview, Chris. Like you, I have a good number of releases on vinyl, and just about all of it on CD. A timeless catalog. Don Juan's Reckless Daughter is very underrated. I love it. Well done😎🎶
Awesome collection Chris. I love the folky ballads stuff the best. Everything up through Hejira. My three favorites are Blue, Court and Spark, and Ladies of the Canyon. Miles of Aisles is excellent too. Joni is amazing!!!
It’s great to hear your descriptions of her various albums. I’ve only ever owned Blue and it was one of the victims of an ill-decided CD purge some ten to twelve years ago. I’ve been thinking to try a different album but I haven’t decided yet. Same with Neil Young. Not sure if I should start or where to start.
Beautiful box sets. Blue has never really been one of my favorite Joni albums; Clouds is my favorite from the early period. Hissing of Summer Lawns is the best, a desert island disc for me.
Impressive collection brother! I’m not a fan of her in that I know a lot of her material but I do like the album I have. It’s that jazzy stuff I’m not a fan of. I’d take the more folky material. Looks like a nice boxset there in first half of video. Nice stuff Chris!
She looks like Taylor Swift on that Clouds album cover. Both Sides Now is one of the greatest songs ever written. I think she did the artwork on her covers? Awesome collection!
Forgot how many great songs Joni wrote. Bought the second box set on cd and pleasantly suprised with how good it is. Shoutout to Michelle (wifey) for prodding me to buy it, lol but true. Great collection Chris.
There's a subtle reference to Salvador Dali in Joni's song "Rainy Night House(That's how I see it any way) ( from the Ladies of the Canyon Album) Dali had a conceptual art piece titled " Rainy Taxi" Displaying 2 mannequins in a car..and the Joni song Rainy Night House has the lyrics ."It was a rainy night, We took A taxi to your mother's house..
How on earth did she get the inspiration for all of this, song after song, album after album, each of them distinguished from the one before and after? I also lean toward “Hejira” as my favorite, but I always find something new to love when I listen to any of her records.
Awesome box set bro
Awesome
Awesome video Chris! I know you love her music 👍🤘🤘
Thanks, brother!!!

With Joni, I would start with Ladies Of The Canyon. With Neil, go back to Harvest Moon or After The Gold Rush.
@@ChrisPropfeMusicallyObsessed Good advice. Thanks!

I love how smart her lyrics are!

She was prolific!!!!! Amazing!!!!
