I love that Wall of Voodoo record! PJ is great. He style has changed radically over time. I like PInk Mountaintops, though I only have one album on CD. I should listen to it again.
I love any band on IRS records. Mexican Radio was one of the first videos I saw on MTV. Panic at the Disco are great. My daughter got me into them (him). Sweet pick ups!

I'm right there with you on Katrina and the Waves. I was given that album a while back and never listened to it because I thought it was gonna sound like Walking On Sunshine. I was pleasantly surprised when I did listen to it and have listened to it several times since. And you can't go wrong with Pat Benatar!! Take care!
You had me at Samantha Fox! Im still taumatized by Celtic Frost doing a bad covwr of Mexican Radio on their third album. It was a weird twist for a metal band. Great 80s picks, Frozen Ghost, Pat B and Katrina.
I was unaware of Steve missing. I did notice he hasn't posted but I thought he went on a trip. Now I see he's AWOL on my channel list. Hope he is okay 🙏
Those first three Pat Benatar albums are all great. Double shot of Katrina and the Waves. I’ve gotten into bands/artists I missed over the years thanks to the VC. PJ Harvey is an artist I like although I did not enjoy her last release. Dreadful stuff. Those Samantha Fox albums are worth owning for the cover alone lol. Wall of Voodoo is a tough finds. Nice finds there, Doug. I have Phil Ochs' debut 'I Ain't Marching Anymore' - meets all my protest needs! Old school Tanya Tucker, and Katrina Waves - I pick those up myself when I see them out there. For my money, Precious Time is Pat Benatar's best. Pink Mountaintops are new to me, but I know those bands you mention. 😎

I actually have some Stan Ridgeway solo albums but for some reason have not picked up any Wall of Voodoo albums. I bought the 45 of "Walking On Sunshine" when it came out but I guess I need to check out their albums after seeing you and Steve (All The Worlds A Stage) praise them.

That was a good mix of records. Male, female all kinds of genres. Very interesting. I've heard about PJ Harvey in the VC a lot too, but I haven't taken the plunge yet. Maybe I will. Phil Ochs record looks very cool; nice of Michael to give some out. I have 3 or 4 of his records/CD. I showed Peacock Pools when it came out, but you probably weren't watching my videos back then. I have a couple other PM records - Axis of Evol And Get Back. You might want to check out his previous band, Black Mountain. They made several good albums; I like the first one the best.
