I had a panic attack at work and ended up butt ass naked in the bathroom with my wig on the floor. I was sweating g like crazy. It's seriously no joke. I was so stressed that my body just went nuts. I've struggled with anxiety since I was a child. It's the scariest thing because you can't control it.

The thing I hate even more about anxiety is that even tho you know in your head that your ok, you're not really dying or whatever but your body reacts completely different, it just stays in a panic. I'm sorry that happened to you. And Basi, God rest your mom and your friends souls

near death experiences or people your age dying is a definite trigger for anxiety and panic attacks. I almost died when my daughter was stillborn because I was hemorrhaging and I had kidney failure and all that. ever since, I have panic attacks multiple times a week, usually when it's close to bed time. last month, I laid in the bed and all of a sudden my body started going from cold to hot over and over, I was sweating, my head felt funny, I thought I couldn't breathe and I swore I felt an aneurysm burst in my head (my grandpa died from one in his late 20s which is my age now) and I thought that was it. I truly thought I was dying. It happens all the time but I just kept telling myself it was just a panic attack and it would pass, that it wasn't real and that it would go away soon. they are SO scary because you can't control it and that's why they scare the crap out of so many people. it feels like you're dying but you look fine to everyone else. I feel ya girl. it definitely ain't no joke!

I totally identify with your Panic Attack. Panic Attacks and Anxiety can be debilitating talk therapy often combined with medication as well as stress management are helpful. A person can have a genetic predisposition for Panic and/or Anxiety Disorders. One can also have a genetic predisposition for Epilepsy; however have a predisposition doesn't mean 100% a person will develop a certain condition. I subscribed to your channel because of this video and one other video. Keep you head up Sis and not only ask for help...accept help and continue to love yourself remain prayerful 💞

Girl even your panic attack story time is amazing...lol...it brought back memories when I first experienced an attack....your experience was exactly what I felt..scary as ever!!!! My ex used to like arguing ALL the damn time which caused me to have an attack...That experience scared me so much that I had to get rid of his ass & when I let him go so did my attacks that was over 16 years ago....but I did experience one about a month ago because I was excited about my daughter becoming an entrepreneur....I shut that shit down real quick...I grabbed my earplugs & my iPod put on some soothing music went to sleep & I was good....them panic attacks straight make you feel like you gonna die....I don't wish that experience on no one 😀

after my baby boy passed I was able to do the funeral arrangements and "process"... a couple days before the funeral my mother and 2 surviving children were @ my home and all of a sudden I felt as if I was terrified, shaky,& as if I was in TOTAL DANGER!!!!I FREAK OUT.....SHORT OF JUST RUNNING CLEAN OUT of my home my mother calls 911....they show up and immediately the same basic questions as they did you and BINGO:the death of my baby was the root of the anxiety.... I say all of this to say PLEASE take note to your body during stressing times WE AS HUMANS CAN ONLY take so mush before we shut down/out.To anyone who suffers YOU'RE NOT ALONE ~STAHR

Thank you for sharing I recently started having panic attacks as of six months ago, I am 22 years old. I used to think just getting overly worked up might of been a panic attack. When I finally had one it was like nothing that I had ever experienced before. I have not unfortunately has 5 but I have severe anxiety and it is so easy to go back into them like you said. Because you are worried that you will go back into one. Thank you for sharing your story!

I have been dealing with attacks for about 11-12 years. Depression as well. I saw a comment that mentioned exercise and that has worked for me too. I can relate. I was still suffering from postpartum depression when I had my first panic attack. My grandmother took him to a whole nother city with her because I had to work. I don't think they had gotten out of the yard good and I just felt like I was dying. the room started spinning, chest got tight.... I called my mother and she told me to lay on my left side..... I calmed down but called in sick. I was too drained to live afterward. I've only had one since but I know they can come at any given time.

A panic attack for the first couple of times can be extremely scary, I have anxiety accompanied by panic attacks everyday and that shit is really annoying, like I'll be trying to go to a restaurant and start having a panic attack and my family will be getting frustrated with me because they don't understand which makes it worse, I've had one so bad one time that I just dropped to the floor because I couldn't breath but shortly after it went away. Panic attacks are no joke for real, so I empathize with you.

As “nonchalant” as it seems it’s necessary... how they gonna help you if they’re panicking too... while talking to you they’re also informing multiple people of your situation and trying to do so as quick as possible.... therefore they need to remain as calm as possible 😂

Girl I was just rushed to the hospital last month over a panic attach. I was so embarrassed when I realized nothing was actually wrong. My throat felt like it was closing, I thought I ate or drank something that i was allergic too. I went to the hospital, they gave me and ekg and an x-ray. Everything was fine in the end and crazy enough- the moment they told me everything was fine, I felt normal. Panic attacks are deff stress related. I usually go outside and get some air or call one of my friends to talk, or take a shower.

Out of all the video's of yours, I just can't finish this one.
Thank you for speaking up - a strong black woman is not immune, but may be faced with the lie that don't have time to, "indulge" in this type problem. That can keep a person sick. Because the stress the trauma the hurt....it's still there. It's just poisoning your insides. It's not a luxury - it's a facet of health and wellness that needs tending to. And yes, grand mothers and great grand mothers dealt with these things - in secret, with denial, with drink or anger, with working *additional* jobs, in living in a life of abusive chaos or orderly "perfection".
I hope these episodes are nowhere to be seen in your current life.
Love and sincere empathy to you.

I am clinically diagnosed with anxiety and depression and I have severe panic attacks. I am also a worrier. I am 34 and I have Lupus and I was on dialysis for 7.5 years and I've witnessed people being resuscitated and having seizures while at dialysis. I've also had seizures due to other health issues. All of these things caused me to have panic attacks. I agree that they are so scary. I have to take medicine because my attacks are so severe.

omg sis I had a similar situation and yes stress and worrying will do it my first time I was in the store with all my children and I was so afraid luckily the hospital was 4 blocks away I thought I was dying too ... and it was a panic attack... and sometimes it can be the foods we consume everyday that helps bring it on I notice when I get good and relax and meditate I don't have them at all... I'm a Chucky girl too and weight stress kids .. jobs friends all these things going on around us can bring on it as well. sometimes walking away giving yourself "Me" time works a miracle.. I understand that feeling u had and yes it is very very scary I'm glad u found a way to calm yours without meds ..because u are right those pharmaceutical drugs do more damage than the symptoms itself... you are a great mom and keep up the good work .. peace; and blessings.

Girl!!!! I had the same issue. Eventually I found out it was a med I was taking that causes this along with a job... Let's just say I quit them both! Never had another, but when I exercise and get my HR up to high I can feel one trying to brew. I just deep breath a drink water slow...

I can really relate and it's crazy cause I've always had anxiety that gradually got worst over time from childhood to adulthood and I always was like I hope I never get to that point of having a actual anxiety attack .... But heard of it happening to ppl but man I just thought maybe it only happens to certain ppl.... And I almost in my head thought it wont real... During this time of my life when mines occurred .... I was at a point where I really honestly wasn't at my worst point that's what really threw me off cause I just thought of anxiety attack like when you you have reached your breaking point but it actually was months after I was coping and just dealing with different things..... I never have felt that hopeless in my life I've never felt like I was gonna die ever like that like it was so scary and completely different and more intense than what I thought in my head an anxiety attack was like ...... I pray it doesn't happen again but I'm still dealing with anxiety and what not
