I like the no drill installation. Great job routing the wires. The plug and play harness makes for a clean factory look. Magnum really did their homework. No need to have to go to Mauler the Installer who would certainly use household wire nuts, electrical tape and garbage bag ties to retain the harness.
Hey,am new to channel Rainman Ray's repairs recommend your channel so here I am.I like what am seeing so I will have to start from your oldest to latest which I just watched and liked your video style. Best wishes & stay healthy.
I have the same on my 17'. I also did the dually light mod wille in the rear harness. My harness didn't have all that extra wiring and module. My truck doesn't have LED's. I added the dually wires to that plug not the factory.🍻🇺🇸
Nice install. Been eyeing a magnum rack for a while for everything you mentioned… fits with the styling lines of the truck, no drill install and compatible with inside the bed mount tonneau covers. Also the’yre reasonably priced. But OMG what a sh!++y weld job on that thing! I’d be returning it in a heartbeat…😢
I am still running factory lights for now. I am thinking I would like a front diff cover to match the Banks cover the peer pressure made me buy 😁. Cool setup! Those lights are looking good👍
I’m on my 2nd magnum rack and love them, the one on my 21 f250 directional blinks opposite the truck turn signal when the brake is applied, the older style I had always “blinked” on the same side whether the brake was applied or not, but that was the older style harness that plugged into the back of the trailer wiring, not sure if that’s normal or if I messed something up
Thanks, great video! Wish you showed how the bed cover install went with the headache rack, as I am wanting to do the same as you. Not sure if my soft roll up bed cover will work or not.
Great job! I had a headache rack with my Diamondback bed cover on my previous Ford F250 SD truck. My '16 F350 SD 6.7 platinum has a Bakflip tonneau cove since I tow 5th wheel. Wonder if Magnum make a rack that works with the Bakflip?
Our Low Pro racks will allow you a view up to the tailgate, but if you have a GMC/Chevy truck 2020 or newer our Low Pro rack will allow full functionality of the bed camera. Our High Pro and Standard racks will allow full functionality of the bed camera.
Thank you for checking.. I will look up their racks. Hopefully I can get one shipped to Canada 🇨🇦.. Thanks for your videos as well. Very informative and great learning things from a great Ford tech..
These look cool but nowadays they are useless! All these new trucks have cameras for rearview mirrors or cargo cans etc and this covers your third brake light so noone would ever install this on a 2018+ truck that is averagely optioned…
I've had a headache rack and bed rails on my 6.4L since the first week of 08. Tool box and fuel tank all mixed in too. 100 mph winds last year blew out the rear window with just pressure. Now I can't get a glass shop to put in a new one without taking everything all apart. Found some old plexiglass left over from covid nonsense and held in there with two tubes of tub caulk.

That's awesome I was looking for one for my 2011 super duty king ranch
The Magnum Hi-Pro model provides clear visibility to the rear, high-mount brake & reverse lights as well as the rearview camera.
I need that for my f150, with my weather tool box
nice. i like it looks really nice

Yeah, that weld and failure to clean up the spatter and grind marks kind of put me off too. Nice looking rack at a distance.
I like it. It goes on the list. Nice install
Looking Goooooood!!👌😁...later 👍💪💯
Good luck 👍
Clean install Dr Arod 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I am still running factory lights for now. I am thinking I would like a front diff cover to match the Banks cover the peer pressure made me buy 😁. Cool setup! Those lights are looking good👍
Lololol
Dang it.. add it to the wish list lol
I forgot all about that hot at all Time wire from up for the upfitter box.
We keep it next to the drill bits Donna 👨🔧😭👨🔧😭
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod lololol
I wish that would work with my folding hard cover☹
I put the same one on my 17 4 years ago still running great I'm going to remove it when I get my 23 and put it on it.What do you think ??????
💪💪💪
Please explain purpose or function of Headache Rack when bed cover is in use?
Big daddy like his bed covered
Think he wants to be a big rigger no purpose
Use mine to mount flood lights. I have a roll top cover but I hall a lot of brush, and firewood, and wood rounds. Getting my big rigger on⛓️🔗🤪
Prob rolls up the bed cover when loading anything. I think it's awesome! Nice install.
Thanks my brotha.....jubbs home cookin' yum yum

Hmmmm. I would reach out to Magnum and/or peep the comments, because they are here
Thanks, great video! Wish you showed how the bed cover install went with the headache rack, as I am wanting to do the same as you. Not sure if my soft roll up bed cover will work or not.
It should 👍

Hmmmm. Aye Magnum.......
Yes, our rack will work with your set-up!
Good vid. sent youre way by rainman
Welcome to the fam brotha
With my short bed I need every bit of space between my fifth wheel and my cab. Even with a slider hitch.
Purple or not 😭
After I wrote that comment I thought I would write something productive rather than something smartass
I loved it!
The rack blocks the bed camera, yea? I like to use the cam for the goose neck hitch. Thoughts?
Our Low Pro racks will allow you a view up to the tailgate, but if you have a GMC/Chevy truck 2020 or newer our Low Pro rack will allow full functionality of the bed camera. Our High Pro and Standard racks will allow full functionality of the bed camera.
How does this effect the camera for hooking up a gooseneck or 5th wheel
ARod do you have a particular spot on your forum to ask questions that are not related to a particular video. If so will you share that.
Email is in ALL vid descriptions
How much higher is headache Rack then the roof ? Is it same as running lights ?
Even
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod thanks I only live about 10 miles from the place that makes them that’s my next add on my 2022 xlt superduty
Does this work with the rolling metal tonneau cover from ford
Not too sure
Will it work with a roll-n-lock bed cover?
🤔🤔🤔
How much higher does that rack sit over the cab?
I am looking for a rack that sits flush with the cab height or maybe an inch higher max..
Id have 2 measure. It didnt stick up barely that i could remember
That would be awesome if you could check.. thanks 😃
Juss went & looked....it is actually below the cab line...didnt even measure
Thank you for checking.. I will look up their racks. Hopefully I can get one shipped to Canada 🇨🇦..

Wiring, what a mess! Not your fault, 2024, they can do better-
