You know what really keeps me thinking? That at first, Emily called the both of them idiots, for not noticing that they LOVE each other, so basically she’s encouraging Luke to ask Lorelai out and then, when they finally got together, she tried ruining it all by telling Christopher to get back together with Lorelai cause they were „made for each other“ ughhhhhh 😤
Almost like she knew Lorelai better than she lets on. Maybe it's not what she wants for her, but she can't deny what's there.

I always thought it was like a battle of her trying to be a supportive mother but those decades of her mind being so used to to that high scooters life mixed in with the hurt and denial that Lorelei didn’t want to be and wasn’t apart of their world anymore in that situation. She seemed to come to terms with it in the last season.
They were always together. Even when they were “just friends” he was always there for her. And she was always there for him 🥺 they’re so cute
I love how the only person who is allowed behind the counter is Lorelai even when they are not together. Luke always tells everyone else off for going behind the counter but if Lorelai goes behind the counter he doesn't even bat an eyelid
He even helps her by giving her something to pick the muffin up with

I love when Max is trying to shade him. "Maybe a little later than usual." With a really snippy voice. Luke's just like "Doesn't matter what time it is, I'll always be around." And he leans forward slightly like-- Ahhhhhh!
I am so sad there is not enough Luke an lorelai happy scenes. I can watch these 2 forever.
All the men loralai dated asked her out , she never pursued any of them , but she definitely let Luke know that she was interested in being pursued by him
He was definitely not just looking for something to shut her up. Hence the pause in that sentence

God, I hate season 7, Christopher persuaded Lorelai to sleep with him, she didn't even want to. She didn't know it happened, he knew she was in a healthy relationship and he shouldn't have done that. I cant wait to finish this last season, so that I can see Luke & Lorelai back together. These characters were MADE for eachother.
The most satisfying part of season 7 is when Luke punched Christopher

I'd rather hear the dialogue than the music. The music is way too loud and annoying, and it drowns out the dialogue that you are actually trying to highlight.
