      I just pre ordered them to see what it's like I will be honest I don't do pre orders with third party companies a 215"inch screen sounds bigger than the last one and I even got the hub and a keyboard ready for it it looks compatible with my Xiaomi BlackShark 4 Pro because it worked with the Air Pro perfectly fine. 215"inch screen is bigger than a 130" screen so we will see how big the damn thing actually is I hope this was worth it.

    It's a cool product for people who can afford another display or travel a lot. But given the choice of this vs a 240hz 140" 4K projector and screen for basically the same price... I'd take the projector every time.

    This is very interesting, definitely won’t be picking it up soon (cuz I need to save any penny I can for the Zelda switch) but I always find my arms getting tired of holding my switch in bed cuz I’ve got very W I D E shoulders and my forearms aren’t super long so laying down & playing gets uncomfortable after a bit. But I may consider this type of gaming in the future cuz I can easily imagine myself laying comfortably in bed with these on and my arms down having a fun time playing games 👌 very good video!

    These are waaaay too expensive for the gimmick they are. It's currently marked down to $430 to preorder, but they intended these to be $600? They aren't 3D vr glasses, no controllers or anything. Just screens and speakers. These are 3x more expensive than I expected....

    Main thing I want to know, can you adjust it so it fits your or near as to the prescription for your eye sight?
    I’m someone who wears their glasses everyday mainly because I have long distance is the main issue I have but even at close range even though I can make out the shape of things and technically walk around without them everything too me seems blurry and I can’t see the exact details of the thing that’s in front of me and written words just become a blurry lines too me so I wear my glasses everyday, so I do want too know if either I can adjust them to fit my eye sight or if I can wear them comfortably while having my actual glasses on?

    • @Swordslash
      @Swordslash ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do not own these, but from what I can tell from the other reviews- YES! Which is incredible to me. I'd take a look at their website and some other reviews, but each lens has dials to adjust the digital image so you don't even need prescription lenses.

    The Switch has an advantage for this setup: being able to detach the joycon from the device. Too bad is not plug & play.
    Nintendo should have an official set of AR glasses for the next switch. Maybe return to the clamshell design. It would be great to fold the switch and connect the hmd to it.

  • @duke_8747
    @duke_8747 ปีที่แล้ว

    I would just like to comment on something because a lot of people get this confused. Hz and frames have no correlation. You don’t need a 120hz monitor to match 120 frames. You will be able to tell a difference in performance with a higher refresh rate monitor even if your frames are lower than your refresh rate.

    They look cool but they should offer 3D support for games and movies. Imagine watching movies in 3D on your PS3 or playing 3D games under PS3. Nintendo should be taking notes too. Either for a partnership or creating their own headset for Nintendo to be used with Switch 2. Imagine you're getting ready to come out with the Switch 2 and you don't have to create games from scratch because you can just up Res your 3DS games library and re-sell them to a new audience.

  • @geek-elite

    I have a question: I've seen AR glasses like this reviewed/previewed a lot, and one of the things that's never talked about is any sort of motion tracking. Let me explain:
    My assumption here is that the Rokid glasses simply put a screen in front of your eyes. So it's effectively like sitting in front of a 215" screen.... if your head were strapped in place and you couldn't tilt or turn it independent of your eye movement? So, unlike a VR setup, it's not simulating a screen in a space. If you were in a movie theater, you could turn your head to see the extreme edges of the screen, and that would be something a VR headset could simulate.
    But with these, it's literally just pasting two 1080p screens in front of your eyeballs, and turning your head is meaningless, because the screen just moves with your eyes? Is that right?
    I ask this because these types of glasses have always been intriguing for me, but having a theater room with a 150" screen shows me that I can't just use my eyeballs to see all the screen real estate. I need to move my head. If I can't move my head, I'm a little worried my eyes will get fatigued trying to see the edges of something like this.
    What's your take?

    Looks like I am being skeptical about this one 215"inch screen display 6meters away sounds like a big screen compared to the last one I am worried about pre ordering it and Rokid forgetting about it they look stylish and futuristic almost like it's ripped out of a sci-fi like Minority Report if I get ripped off I will be pissed. The last screen based on my experience was very small I hope like hell Rokid has made improvements they even scaled the FOV pretty damn good and are promising a lot of things I am going to pre order but I swear if it's not the experience I am looking for I will get mad.
