Diavolo vs Risotto was deadass the best fight of part 5. I love how it blurred the line between face and heel for both of them. I think Risotto is my favorite character of part 5. He has a badass design, a creative ability, intimidating intellect, and a great backstory for a secondary antagonist. He isn't a good person by any means, but his grudge against Diavolo was entirely justified. He was doing all the dirty work for the boss, without getting enough credit. Then his friends get brutally murdered just because he wanted a raise for his department. Then there's all the fun what-ifs you can do if Narancia didn't fucking try to get the killsteal. Could any of the Bucci gang have beaten him without an ambush?
Let’s see: -Giorno MIGHT be able to mitigate damage by creating new blood and tissues. -Mista’s gun will get destroyed and any long range bullets will get manipulated. -Aerosmith only killed Risotto because of a sneak attack but otherwise he’s ripping that thing in half. -Abbacchio... yeah no. -Sticky Fingers zipping it’s own body parts off won’t stop Risotto from spawning more nails in him. -Spice Girl could probably prevent the area around them being harvestable for iron, but I don’t think she can do much against nails already there. -Purple Haze will just kill everyone so nobody wins and Fugo leaves again.

Aerosmith is actually kind of a hard counter to Metallica. Camouflage won’t help against an opponent who can track your breathing, and it has the range and mobility advantage to overwhelm Risotto.

I like "You are complete" as it sounds like his years of being an Assassin has given him the mindset that someone is "complete" when their death is approaching. He sees his target only as a mission. When death is assured, they're complete.

The only reason Risotto lost against Doppio/Diavolo (Epitaph/King Crimson) is that he is not the main character of the part. If he would have killed Diavolo there, the story would have ended at the moment that happens. And Giorno would not have Golden Experience Requiem like the way he got it ...
i think the problem with risotto is how can you make hime work in a game. metallica attacks you internal and it doesn't give a shit if your close or block it. making risoto a legit playablefighter that truly represents his abilities will probably be one of the harder challanges to make
the ammount of iron in the human body is enough to make a nail the ammount of iron in doppio`s body is enough to make a 3km pole with the radius of 10 cm
This guys, this legend, has the ability to use one's own iron level to kill them, can turn invisible, reattach limbs and life after death. In my conclusion, this guys is a god among all, immortality, near instant killing reflexes, and can vanish after he's done.
Hearing this theme while watching this fight added to the suspense. All the while we were learning about the boss and figuring out who or even what the boss is. Risotto stood there a titan of stand users. All the while we were unraveling what the boss is we now had to learn about the overwhelming power of metallica. This is my favorite fight in golden wind. As well as the evil look in the bosses eyes the calm yet careful look in Risotto's made they both all the more menacing. I love this fight

They killed risotto because that fit the story, he had the same goal as the main squad but for twisted reasons (money and revenge). The fight also showed the boss’ personality disorder and how big a threat his ability could be. It’s the mafia world and no fight could end without one side dying
Actually Giorno's stand counters that since he straights up can turn the razors into cells like he did with the bullets and bucciarati can just split himself up to avoid being hurt, but it would've been interesting to see a fight between them
I feel like the intense orchestral part represents what is going through Risotto's victims mind, panic, anxiety and a general feeling of being lost and confused about where you are and why you're dying. Whereas the dark synthwave part contrasts with Risotto's calm, subtle and unseen mind slowly moving in to assassinate his target without any contest. Would've really love just one scene were Risotto had to show up and utterly destroy someone who was very powerful for his own reasons.
Something I never see talked about is how Diavolo says that Risotto is the only Assassin that couldn't be tracked down. Meaning he either completely avoided detection or he killed every stand user sent after him.

Risotto Nero just wanted to avenge his friends and Risotto could easily kill Diavolo but he didn't want to kill him so easily, he wanted to torture him more and more. Thanks to Risotto he left Diavolo Alive so Giornno send him to infinite death loop where not only Risotto but also his squad members can kill Diavolo again and again..
I mean when you say he could have easily killed Diavolo it really depends. If it was fully diavolo then risotto would have lost but given the circumstances of it just being doppio then yeah he would have won

The only reason Risotto lost against Doppio/Diavolo (Epitaph/King Crimson) is that he is not the main character of the part. If he would have killed Diavolo there, the story would have ended at the moment that happens. And Giorno would not have Golden Experience Requiem like the way he got it ...

Hearing this theme while watching this fight added to the suspense. All the while we were learning about the boss and figuring out who or even what the boss is. Risotto stood there a titan of stand users. All the while we were unraveling what the boss is we now had to learn about the overwhelming power of metallica. This is my favorite fight in golden wind. As well as the evil look in the bosses eyes the calm yet careful look in Risotto's made they both all the more menacing. I love this fight

They killed risotto because that fit the story, he had the same goal as the main squad but for twisted reasons (money and revenge). The fight also showed the boss’ personality disorder and how big a threat his ability could be. It’s the mafia world and no fight could end without one side dying
they killed Formagio because he could could become small, go in the ennemy's ass and then go big again.
Actually Giorno's stand counters that since he straights up can turn the razors into cells like he did with the bullets and bucciarati can just split himself up to avoid being hurt, but it would've been interesting to see a fight between them
His theme is like when a boss approaches in a game. Risotto became my favorite character since then.

I feel like the intense orchestral part represents what is going through Risotto's victims mind, panic, anxiety and a general feeling of being lost and confused about where you are and why you're dying.
Whereas the dark synthwave part contrasts with Risotto's calm, subtle and unseen mind slowly moving in to assassinate his target without any contest.
Would've really love just one scene were Risotto had to show up and utterly destroy someone who was very powerful for his own reasons.
