Bhai jaan bahot bahot khubsurat repair hai. Ha yeh baat sahi hai showroom pe brake caliper repair kit completely nehi milta hai oh log ek hi baat jante hai ki replacement kordo. Isliye 99rpm se parts purchase karke khub ghar pe ikminan se beth kar kar lene hi thik hai.

An opinion I have;
> the brake pads (the plate part) have 4 contact points within a calliper
a. the hanger pin (here a small touch of grease on the brake plate the on 'O' shape )
b. the slider plate (on the brake plate small touch)
c. the spring plate (apply on the top hat of brake plate small touch)
d;. the Piston's (the part touching the plate small touch)
on the above-mentioned place use the same red grease or the white one (using a paper paint brush flat/round shape size 1-4 pick one that suits your liking; this way it is consistent to apply small ammount) this process reduces friction within the pad plate and gives better feed back and a consistent brake feel up until the 2nd Pressure wash and or heavy rain.
hope it is easy to understand since typing words can say so much (in my view)
I did apply very slight amount of high temperature grease off the camera though. The reason I didn't show it because it is not proper to use high temperature silicone grease in these places, but instead copper anti sieze must be used. I didn't have it at that time, hence the absence of that in the video. Maybe in a later video, I'll add information on it.

Clearly explained do and don'ts.After watching this video first time in my life i did caliper rebuild at home buying all the spare from genuine Bajaj and assembled in Pulsar 150 UG4 and used Dot 4 TVS original oil.Recently i dropped my bike at home so front wheel got jammed...I did all the things showed in this video now the issue is clear and also I bought full set new master cylinder kit after installing MC kit oil leak from upper hose bolt 😔 ....Pls help to how to stop oil leakage from hose pipe which connects master cylinder.Thank you so much. Waiting for your help !

Can I follow these steps for a bs6 bike as it have an extra cable attached to the calliper. I don't know how to detach that cable
Bs6 doesn't matter much for braking, it solely relates to engine emission norms, what you mean is ABS? If yes then obviously ABS is slightly complicated. You might have a small disc attached inside braking disc, it is a sensor for ABS and that wire connects to this. Coming to the caliper, there might be two brake hoses attached to the caliper.
First confirm whether these details are correct for your bike or not.

Great video bro.. Thanks for this. I am trying to rebuild caliper for Pulsar 135.. At 0:50, the hex bolt you're removing, could you pls tell me the size? My brake is very jammed and i striped my allen tool trying to remove this bolt. Also pls tell me the size of other two hex bolts.
It is an allen bolt, maybe 5 or 6 mm? Main caliper bolts should be either 12 or 13 mm.

No idea, par main aapko yahi recommend karoonga ki same model aur brand ke parts lagao, ya fir kisi service center pe parts lejake poochke dekh sakte ho. Aise keh paana experienced mechanic ke liye bhi mushkil hai kyonki parts interchange karke lagane ki zaroorat nahi padti zyaadatar, par Bajaj ke spares na milne ke karan log pareshaan rehte hai.

Agar repair kit genuine hai aur aapki bike ke caliper ke model ke liye hi bani hai toh dikkat nahi ayegi. Piston ko kisi pipe ya rod se bilkul seedha dabao.

They hold brake pads in place and prevent braking noise. Without brake spring, brake pads won't stay in place and decrease braking performance.

Sorry but it is not the money, but the time, as I am a hobbyist not a professional mechanic. Before caliper service you'll need to find spare parts for it, which is a tough task in itself for Bajaj bikes.

Caliper kit kamyaab hai waise, but genuine ho, vo alag baat hai genuine repair kit ki pistons halki aati hai. New caliper best hai, but cost kaafi zyaada padti hai uski.
