My compressor works fine up to 125psi but the high speed handpiece showing has only about 20 psi.

What does the air gauge say in the floor box of the chair? It should be at 80 psi.

@ thanks for reply! the gauge under chair( floor box) show 100psi. The gauge at tray platform (link to high speed hand-piece) show 20psi.

@ the high speed handipiece show only 20psi no matter adjusted to maximum, which cannot drive the high speed handpiece. However if I put back high speed handpiece in handpiece hold slot ( like cut off the air tube ) and press foot control on for a minute , then remove handpiece out from slot ( like to release the air tube ) then the handpiece gauge can reach to 40psi. I have to do so each time if I want to use the high handpiece. It is annoying!

@@yanliu9765 is this rear delivery? If so, it might be possible that there is a hole inside of the hose. To check, fold the handpiece hose in half at the end by the handpiece. Step on the foot pedal.
If the gauge spikes to maximum and there is no major air sound, this is normal.
If the gauge only goes to 20 or 30 and there is a loud air noise in the delivery unit , you need a new handpiece hose.

@ Thanks very much for your expert advice and I will test the hose tomorrow . It is not rear system. All the arms are on left side by connecting to the base frames of the chair. I am a right-handed person.

That sounds like it could be a check valve. Email a video to servicerequest@bidentalmi.com
