    Mr. Bill is the kind of producer that surpasses all of us in this comment section combined. I checked out the plugin, it's not like I can't do what it does without it, but it simplifies that process enough for me to buy it with full satisfaction.

      Word. We can reproduce the results of nearly any plugin. What matters is how long would it take do it/vs how much it helps your process.

    It was an instabuy for me after demoing for about 2 minutes. The good thing is that it runs flawlessly , I mean no issues whatsoever on Linux through w.i.n.e-staging and yabridge. The CPU usage and latency is surprisingly really low even when pushed hard with all effect modules running. For anyone making jungle or drum and bass this plugin will slam hard any break you throw at it. I can see Mr Bill making part 2 of this plugin in the future with all the little things added that would make it perfect that users have requested :)

      Also adding that it's really cool that you answer most if not all of you channel comments. You are fun to watch and learn from mate !!

    Would rather use UVI drum replacer and use transients of my choosing - then do the other processes in my DAW.
    That said, this looks like a good way to get speedy results.

    ADSR drum machine does something similar with the processing of the 3 elements of the sound. I’d have to download the demo to have a real opinion though 🚨‼️

    I just mixed a 6pc 1998 Peavey Radial Pro with a 2pc 1962 Olympic bebop set. There’s a little Tama popcorn snare in there and also a wine berry red 14x7 no name lowboy. There’s Zildjian and Sabina right together without a care, it’s embarrassing but I force it. Also have y’all tried wuhan crashes, they are damn near like a dirty A custom. Okay I’m gonna check out this plugin, wb.

    have you tried chop suey by dawesome yet? it's also a bit like slap, but as a vsti instrument to ensure maximum consistency on each note and it has a very useful envelope editor for further shaping how the kick progresses

    It’s still a mystery to me how you don’t get a copyright strike for still tippin and sound of the police.

    • @Weaverbeats

      probably cause the volume is really low

    Random question does this do anything for basses?

    • @Vegan_Kebab_In_My_Hand
      @Vegan_Kebab_In_My_Hand 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Very open ended question. If your bass has a relevant enough transient, like in Psytrance, then YES. If your bass is literally just a sine wave sub, then 100x NO.

    • @Weaverbeats
      @Weaverbeats  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      also can help with something like a bass guitar, i think they overdid it in the example on their site a bit though

      @@thegoldenseed I ended up sleeping by accident and worried I missed it haha. I just now checked, and it's still only $45. Pretty good deal, I played with it for a few minutes and it seemed pretty versatile and could produce some cool results. This is maybe the first time I've ever bought a plugin, I can't remember another time

    Sonic Academy Kick 2 was there years before and sounds perfect; comes with many presets too. This one is a 1:1 copy almost if it wasn't a drum synth 🤣 in Kick 2 you'd not drag & drop a sample, it's a kick synthesizer.. you'd recreate it from scratch. In BigKick however, another one, you get basically the same like in this review.. BigKick is quite old but the quality is amazing

    I'd rather not slap my sounds. Make em sound better. Get the Kilohearts Transient Shaper ( Its FREE )

    • @murkish
      @murkish 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sure but you get a lot less in that plugin

    • @Vegan_Kebab_In_My_Hand
      @Vegan_Kebab_In_My_Hand 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I'm huge Khs fan, but Transient Shaper and Slap do completely different things. One does fast transient triggered layering, the other controls the transient triggered dynamics, it's just different.
