I love their invictus rca signal cable. The best rca interconnects I ever heard. The cables disappear in the sound, but makes everything clearer, more spacious, slight but tasteful emphasis on voicing. It is fantastic.

Excellent review into this cable brand. There is a lot of positive news about Tubulus Argentus range with silver conductors and air dielectric, which may be worth a demo.

Someone should send you some AC receptacles to try. Thanks for overview on these cables. I usually can hear all cable changes I have tried. I think I hear some additional extension of bass notes, usually one of the characteristics of better grade cables.

" I think".... yeah... that is the deal with the cables. If you buy expensive cables you expect something but it is just in your mind.... Our hearing memory is so bad you can't remember how it was before swapping the cables...

@Juba Peltola, I still remember how my favorite speaker sound from 20 years ago,
If you can’t hear or remember it doesn’t mean other people can’t.

After a lot of resting I just made an excellent digital coax from Neotech 2001 solid silver digital cable. While Neotech makes a fabricated cable for about $165. I bought the cable separately and terminated with WBT OFC 75 own conductors Using Wonder Solder. The cost is about the same as the made up cable from Audiophonics in France. (Good service) I know some people like to partner this cable with the WBT solid silver 75 ohm RCA an and silver solder keeping it silver all throughout, but it was too much for me and I prefer my mellower version. Make them yourself and you get to play

Hello. Regarding the XLR cables, I saw that the cable connectors are made of silver-colored metal... and there are models with the XLR heads made of a different black-colored material. Is there a difference between the types? I would love to receive your answer.

It would be nice if you could do a review of Jenving Technology AB SUPRA USB 2.0 audiophile cable made in Sweden. The Supra costs about $60 USD. Maybe you could do a comparison to the Dedalus USB, thank you

Nice....However bottle neck and skin effects might still be of concern, constricting or even stifling the ultimate listening experience. In particular when it comes to USB cables.

Have they been properly broken in these cables? sounds a bit dark, lack of transparency. Put some Furutech FI-50 NCF on those power cables, and Ricable them!!

There seems to be a change in your attitude to high end audiophile cables? I myself use the Canare 4s11 and Mogami interconnect you suggested many years ago. Back then you were very against high end cables.

I always use and have high end (overpriced) cables as well as Mogami, Belden and Canare cables,
all I said was my experience of price and performance.

Can you do a test of those SKW audio cables from Amazon, and compare them to Mogami.
What is you opinion about MIT cables.
I have the old Terminator 2 and 4 series in my Bryston 4b and BP preamp.
    Love to hear it.
Any recommendations to improve the cables at a affordable price?
Thanks for your time, and effort.

May be in the future but I have more interesting cables on the table, I have limited experience with MIT cables, mostly I was with AudioQuest or Mogami cables. thanks

I don't see how cables would make any difference.
Home wiring, most if not all, is just solid core without shielding.
Going into cheap low quality receptacles.
Even with a power conditioner, you are starting out with less than desirable wiring and electrical path.
On a grid with who knows how many homes, how much draw at any given time, with wires ran in less than desirable conditions, through neighborhoods, etc.
Even if you have the best quality wire feeding your amp, data (source), and speakers.
Internally, most speakers aren't using the best components for a crossover design, and a lot don’t have shielded wires.
Most sources aren’t running off battery, so they are at best ran through a power conditioner.
Nothing is clean, how will it be clean after?
Also, most studios don’t have the best wiring, electrical, etc. so even the recording isn’t “clean.”
What is the point in over the top wires with all of that in play?

    • @Tharbamar
      @Tharbamar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

It’s the point of personal choice, nothing wrong with good quality cables.
Some happy with gas station coffees and some don’t and I preferred only Peet’s Coffee so it is all personal preference.

how thick is your panels? You must have minimum 4" panels to even reach the midbass range. I don't see that kind of panels..... It is just physics. Search and learn about it.
