He said '" Steve it's me".We hung out for the entire evening

How is it possible that being this song the most powerful, talented, enormous, great that I have heard in my life, I did not know about it until today, being from 2014? It is incredible that I had to discover it after having listened to someone sing it on The Voice, how is this possible?
