In this episode we meet Bryant! An enthusiast who was inspired to build an SIR Honda civic. He has done a very good job. I cannot wait to see the future plans for it. Clean EF, I had a 88 hatch with a B16A back when I was young. I even had EM1 with a B16B then moved to a FB6. Currently have a FK8 and I still miss my 88 hatch dont ever let her go.
My b18c swapped 97 cx hatch is so close to done got 2 or 3 small things and its done i cannot wait to bang gears and hear that vtec kick. Dealing with the gay classic gsr iab issue cant find the harness i need smh

@@AutomotiveAnatomy 1993 civic si hatchback just had a bearing (spell ckeck) go bad, going to throw another stock crank shaft in with upgraded no notched rods, might do upgraded pistons. Engine has no mods. 7 pound flywheel, stage 2 clutch, lightweight like a mother fukr but with AC cause Florida lyfe. Upgraded suspension, and other goodies.

The EF chassis has and will always have a place in my heart. My first 2 cars were a 90 sedan dx and 91 hatch si.

I sold the sedan and bought the hatch. I owned the hatch for about 2 years until it got stolen. Automotive Anatomy

I was like that as well Mark. Not with this car but with other cars in general. After a while it grows on you. But thank you for keeping it respectful. Not every mod has to be to your liking but at least it should motivate you to build. Thanks for the support.

Does anybody else like quiet performance mufflers besides myself? I feel like I'm the only one
I like quiet stuff as well. Once in a while a loud exhaust sounds nice but on a everyday thing nah.

Im planning on moving to florida in march-april i mitr bring my 97 ek hatch with a b18c down and when i get down to fl im gonna strip everything out of it i need and trade this 97 hatch shell and some cash for a 94 or 95 teg. My jdm b18c needs to bein a obd1 teg not a ek lol

I have a question for everyone. Can you drive and pass emissions with vtec engine that needs a vtec solenoid and oil switch?

@@mskbjdm thank you very much. Yea this guy wants to trade his 95 civic for my 88 hatch. I'm just frustrated that my hatch didn't pass emissions It says hc gpm is over limit and I have unburned has coming out the tail pipe. What I've read on is that a tune up may help. Or check and adjust timing.

po spm just find your self a mechanic and have him help you on parts you need. And go to the junk yard and replace sensors and things like that. You don’t need a tuning on a stock motor brother. Don’t waste money. And don’t trade because of that. You don’t know what the car that they want to trade you doesn’t have any problems.
