BeamNG is getting more realistic I swear, from the physics to graphics to audio 🤯, the most realistic one by far is the cars passing by with the tire and road noise, the slight engine noise with even the wind. Good job beamng devs!
Can I Say . . . . That I5, from a distance, Is One if not the BEST Sounds I've ever heard in Beamng. I'm going to try and recreate that once my game has finished updating. Who else here can agree with me on that?
Weirdly when I remove the door on my off-road configs it still sounds the same. They forgot to add a "no door" sound that should be similar to the convertible.
I remember when this game had some of the crappiest sound of any driving game, the bus driving by in this video literally sounded like when I’m walking between classes at college and the buses come by. Wow
They definitely updated all the sounds (even on older automation cars I think) I have a few older automation cars that I swear sound smoother and less flat. The scintilla, which arguably didn't sound good before 0.28 sounds slightly better.
I tought something was off... i was using the Bastion Wagon with a I4 and it sounded different than i remembered and that explains why, i love how it sounds 🥰
Also something you missed in this video is when you drive a car and break the oil pan and keep driving eventually you will start to hear a rattle of metal coming from the engine like you would in a real car if you ran a car without oil
@@BeamBot it's not too loud and you're going to have to run the car for a few minutes but it is noticeable but you might want to have your volume turned up
@@180Gibbo I don't think so. I've driven cars ingame with a broken oil pan until they died in 0.27 and did not notice it but I did the first time I drove a car ingame with a broken oil pan until it died in 0.28 I did notice it
Its honestly mesmerising how much the BeamNG devs work just for these small details that they know 90% of players will miss
the distant sound of the engines is so comfy, i wish more games did the same
Makes me remember GTA 5 ambient noises with the cars speeding in the distance, so satisfying and nostalgic
@@pedrommanzi2409 its a shame in gta 5 its only an ambient noise
I have noticed the new road noises, it's really nice
It's really noticable when driving the rock crawlers or the Dakar racers on tarmac at speed. It's almost louder than the engines xD
@@Frydee123 yeah I had to turn the surface noise down in settings because anything above 90mph got annoying

i kinda feel like after the update the horn sounds a lot louder in the cabin compared to 0.27 weirdly
The transition between close and distant reverberation is just awesome. Sounds just like the real thing.
Ngl beam is my childhood game I've even played it once I'm planning to get this back again.
Wow, those new exhaust sounds sounded so real especially while driving away far
THATS WHAT THE BELL SOUND WAS?????? I thought it was steam
2:01 if I'm making a mod, how do I change the in-cabin sound muffling?

Omg 0:57 Launch control
Weirdly when I remove the door on my off-road configs it still sounds the same. They forgot to add a "no door" sound that should be similar to the convertible.
That is because the convertible sounds are "fake" and preset. They don't currently have a way to dynamically change how the audio is muffled.
I love all these sound improvements, they make the game feel so much better

I noticed the unmuffeled i4 and i5 sounds, they sound so good!
Is the issue of cars that are sometimes too loud and sometimes too quiet addressed? You put it in the thumbnail
The thumbnail represents the older cars being louder because as time has progresses, modern cars have become more efficient and quieter.
Great video. I love how creative and detailing the developers are.
Thanks, they are!
Its surprising that the game no longer feels silently eerie
Knew I wasn't the only person who noticed the bell at the gas station 😅
the transmission whine in the racing cars was practically removed, sad, it was very good
Really? I'll have to check that out.
Awesome BeamBot. I like the sound update
Great Video BeamBot! I love the new sounds, they are way more realistic:)
Thanks, me too! 😄
Thx dev but why that bell sound in the gas station
The cars sound so good! (i havent watched the video yet) 💀

Congratz on 10k, keep up the great work, thanks for the high quality content.
When I was at the gas station in utah USA in beamng I kept hearing bells and I got so confused that I kept driving back and forth.
The cherrier vivace launch thoo🤤🤤🤤
i didn't know these (my favorite one is the unmuffeled audio in targa vehicles (no roof)
Nice vid as always!!
ps by the way only two or three i knew before your vid lol
I dont really get whys there a bell sound there lol
Me neither, but it's fun 😆
BeamBot THE No.1 BeamNG Channel! Great work as always.
Thanks 😁
If this is how the devs are going imagine how the game will be like in a few years
?
@@BeamBot I mean imagine how realistic the game would be in a year or two if the devs are putting this much work

BeamNG's devs = best devs in the world ❤ woohoo
what is that map that you filmed this in called?
I used multiple maps for this video. Which one?
@@BeamBot Number 4, new road/tire sound map with the van.
I dont get the bell sound, what is it supposed to be?
I don't know what it's supposed to be ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
what is the map 1:31
It's the Automation Test Track. It is in the vanilla game.
Goddamn the new unmuffled i4 sound is awesome, didn't knew it since i haven't played beam recently because my PC is dying kek
I knew there was something up
Nice video! Great ytber
Thanks!
finally i can terrorize belasco in maximum power :)
Good way to rickroll us on the outro
It's not Never Gonna Give You Up, it's Together Forever
does anyone else have pitch black tyres, chassis or interiors on some cars?
I don't.
@@BeamBot I fixed it by just setting the lighting quality to a higher setting.
My game is stuttering with sounds
What?
how can i fix so my game sound is not stuttering its like wind noise@@BeamBot
also updated the world editor)
They did? What changed?
@@BeamBot added AI Editor
