  • This is so nostalgic for me. I used to listen to this tape every night when I was young. I was looking around for it on TH-cam, but couldn't find it, so I though "Fine. I'll do it myself."

People now can't imagine the time when a movie was in theaters, and then it was simply gone. Kids didn't play with the toys because they were that awesome, it was because we'd rather be watching the movie but couldn't. God bless the Japanese for providing us with affordable VHS machines in the Eighties.

    • @steveharvey2102
      @steveharvey2102 ปีที่แล้ว +7

No, the toys were awesome too. We made our own movies and adventures with the toys. In some casses literally.
The movies were a jumping off point for our imaginations. After we saw the movies, once or twice we were off on our own adventures.
I'm not saying we wouldn't love to rent the movies again and again.
I still remember waiting for the video release, counting down the days, until we could relive what we had seen a few years earlier.
The joy of Star Wars was not just the toys, or just the movies. It was everything. It was a part of us. We were all part off it, regardless of color creed or location.
      Cheers from Canada

I learned it from this, while making a transcript.
Still a couple of words still missing, after 30+ years.
Could you please fill out the missing words?
"Leia knocked out the distructed guard with a tree (…...) , then she shot the remaining scout, as he sped off on his bike."
"Roaring through the narrow corridors of pipes and (......), Lando and Wedge finally reached the core of the Death Star."
So my 30+ years journey towards finishing this will be complete.

@Ryan TheFilmMaker this is fantastic! I cannot find the Star Wars or Empire strikes Back versions on your channel?
Like so many people I listen to these while playing with my figures because we didn't have a VCR yet.
They did such a great job of isolating the original dialogue that has been lost in so many remixes and special editions.
Thank you for uploading this !

Hi there! I'm glad you also appreciate these cassettes. Unfortunately, I never had the tapes for A New Hope or Empire. I wish I did, but alas.

In addition to this LP, I also had Indiana jones and the Black Hole. This was the closest thing to owning the movie we had back in the day. Lol
