That is correct especially with that pricing. Also, you can't explain the luxury to little people in the back about luxury without giving them an entertainment system similar to Sienna. No interior accent lighting as well. That front looks super weird as well. I will just wait for a redesign or else look at the 2025 QX80. Soft pass on this one.

@@mrsj1417 no one is hating on the front end styling of Lexus. The LC/IS/NX are beautiful. The LS/ES are elegant. The LX/RX grew on me. The TX would look more Lexus proper if it had triple beam headlights to distinguish itself.

@@Carfan678 yet the xc90 has aged incredibly well and it still looks elegant, the interior has a higher degree of precision in build quality and materials and fit finish. And the xc90 is still fast and drives way better than any tx and it’s the same price
@@RO49569other manufacturers have perfected it tbh. As far as I know, Lexus/Toyota and Mazda are among the only holdouts still completely shutting the car off when remote started.
Great review Sofyan! Imho, huge huge miss by Lexus corporate for making top trim TX’s a 6 seater. I would have ordered a TX 500h or 500h+ phev if it was at a 7 seater. 6 seat only option was the deal breaker (as I imagine it will be for many potential buyers). Which is a bummer, bc it’s such an amazing lux/performance suv. 😢
Loving the hybrid option, but this would have been perfect if it had 8 and a half inches ground clearance, and I would prefer a V6 engine offering with over 300 hp in the TX350 option, naturally aspirated v6 lasts longer, would preform better and is smoother. Im not paying 69k for a turbo charged 4 cyl, thats what the grand highlander is for, why they put that in the lexus idk. Everything else is top notch love it

Am I understanding it correctly when I say the plug in only has 6 seats? I don't want to buy a car of this size to seat 6. 7 is the minimum. I can understand a 3 row middle and then 2 comfy seats in the back, but 6 is missing the point.
I wish you could get 20" wheels on this model. Most reviews have criticized ride quality with 22", plus 20" are just better all around (cost, noise, curbing, etc ). That, plus the 6-speed (rather than 8) will likely push us to the plug-in version. Which is unfortunate bc I'd like the F Sport suspension.
Hello Sofyan. Good review video for the 2024 Lexus TX 500H. Lexus came out with this vehicle to replace the RX 350L (not RXL). According to their words, Lexus said they made the decision to replace the RX 350L due to the fact that "it wasn't roomy enough." The TX is much more spacious than the RX 350L for sure. More interior space for occupants, storage and cargo. The engine powertrains are good performers. From 0-60 in less than 7 seconds for the 500H shown in this video is pretty good for a vehicle of this size. Due to the price points for the 500H trim level shown in this video and the 550H+, I expected few more features to be included from Lexus which are MIA. Few more of those features are found on few other vehicles. Four months ago back in July, I got a vehicle that has more features with almost the same price points. The vehicle I got is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve trim nicely equipped with the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine. The features found on my vehicle and is MIA on the Lexus TX 500H or 550H+ include the following: 1. Massaging front seats 2. Front passenger infotainment screen 3. Interior camera 4. Night vision camera 5. Adjustable air suspension 6. Besides offering power folding third row seats, the second row seats are power folding as well 7. More wood panels found on the lower portion of the dashboard, upper portion of the front doors and the upper portion of the rear passenger doors 8. Built-in towing package 9. Exposed bumper integration exhaust tips Probably during a mid-cycle refresh of the Lexus TX, Lexus might include either four or five of those features I just mentioned. Let's see what happens when the time comes.
Sofyan, you didn't mention if when you use remote start the car will keep running when you open the door.... I suspect its like Toyota and it still kills the engine and you have to restart the car once inside????
You can get the luxury with the bench seat for the Tx 350 because I seen videos with it. So I like the F sport but I would maybe get the 350 for the bench seats because the third row of two vs three. But sweet ride.

Might be a nice car, but i don’t know if I’d get it over a sienna or grand highlander. I just don’t know if this is that much more premium and nice to justify that higher price. I’d rather get a fully loaded sienna or grand highlander for the price of a starting TX. Cars like the XC90 and GV80 just have that emotional wow factor that makes you feel like you got something for that extra money spent. This just doesn’t have that wow factor outside and inside, imo.
A similar comfort level of Q7 is 10k more. Lexus hits the perfect spot of comfort and features at the right price. Especially since the 3rd row seating is the biggest in its class and the tech on this is better than an acura.

To me this and the Lincoln Aviator are the best in class, I would take the Aviator because Lincoln goes a little further with the luxury aspects than Lexus, but I would take the TX for the reliability.
Give me this version with 20inch rims and summer tires. I'm sure 0-60 times would be in the high 5's and mpg would be close to 29-30mpg. I get the bigger wheels look more appealing but it's killing mpg miles

We have an LX 600 for testing back home right now and it has a cushy ride, but the live axle in the rear end does make it crash a bit over rougher roads. The TX has a fully independent suspension and uses a unibody structure for the platform, which tends to give it a smoother ride and more car-like feel versus the body-on-frame platform of the LX. We’d have to drive the two back-to-back to say for sure, but the TX should have a slightly more controlled and smoother ride quality over the LX.
Since the CX-90 and MDX type S exist it would be hard to not choose them over the TX at its price point. the TX is a nice car but it looks depressing inside and out
@@kheirfrancis22 Some people want a fuel efficient V6 and for that they go with the Lexus TX. Reliability is also unmatched; until Honda decides to put reliable transmissions into their cars, people will continue to gravitate towards Lexus models.
Great review. Is there an architectural reason for no bench seat option with the hybrid models or is this just a choice Lexus made to only have captains chairs. Having only 6 seats is a deal breaker for me which is unfortunate.
I still like Acura’s removable middle row center seat idea, such smart way to attract all the buyers who want a bench seat even on the top trim level. However, the lack of hybrid and touch screen are the reasons keep me away from buying MDX.
Ok thanks. With a car this big Lexus should have designed the battery packs in a different part of the vehicle. The Grand Highlander hybrid allows a bench seat which is why this is confusing.
@@njt7117 I believe regular 2.5L hybrid on the grand Highlander does have bench seat, but hybrid max is only captain’s chairs. TX doesn’t have regular 2.5L hybrid.

The MDX and the CX-90 have 6 cyl engines, for that and the power offered to me its worth the buy for those 2, TX, not so much

At the 24:12 mark when you pull up next to that Tundra you can really tell how low you're sitting in comparison. Not very high.

Lexus tells us the hybrid battery pack lives under the floor for second row seats and requires them to use captains chairs in all the hybrid versions.

Ok thanks. With a car this big Lexus should have designed the battery packs in a different part of the vehicle. The Grand Highlander hybrid allows a bench seat which is why this is confusing.
@@njt7117 I believe regular 2.5L hybrid on the grand Highlander does have bench seat, but hybrid max is only captain’s chairs. TX doesn’t have regular 2.5L hybrid.
I agree. I hate that Toyota/Lexus don't give you the option of a second row bench in most top trims. Makes no sense.

I know looks are subjective but this thing is hideous on the outside. Not sure why Lexus and BMW have set out to make the ugliest looking vehicles.
