For anyone wondering, the subtitle offsets are 13 seconds at the beginning and starting at the 9 minute mark they shift to 148 seconds. Hopefully Crunchyroll puts up a fixed version soon.
I agree that the prologue was the blast and this episode was kinda toned down with a high school setting. Still not so bad for introducing characters, and some potentialy some world building for the future. Some gundam fans probably wanted here to see the action packed the episode like a "False Peace", "The Black Gundam", or the "Gundam Rising", but this slow build up kinda suits the show for now, Some gundam fans probably wanted here to see the action packed the episode like a "False Peace", "The Black Gundam", or the "Gundam Rising", but this slow build up kinda suits the show for now, and I cannot wait to see up what kind of conflict will arise in the future. For the characters Suletta Mercury could have some split personality traits since she behaves differently in public, and in piloting Mobile Suit, but those my early impresions of her. For the score I will give it 10/10, bonus points since we really don't get too much mecha anime lately, it's an original anime, and I am really tired of those light novel adaptations boom right now i anime. Ps. I could be overscoring this show, since there is a major war conflict in the east neighbouring country from were we are getting a lot of refugees (yep is this major conflict that is causing major problems in the world economy right now).

We are yet to see an actual duel, this was a stomp. I really enjoyed IBO in the second episode. There the duel felt like 2 machines figthing through skill. No funnels since they are useless, no beam and no cards under the table.
"Guel Jeturk" is a top Gundam name. Agreed that the prologue was better. I'm alright with the school setting, though, as the "We use duels to solve problems" plotline guarantees frequent mech fights. And that's what I'm here for!

I want to believe that the prologue was a sign from sunrise that there is a lot more going on here and they just want us to be patient while they set things up. But I want to see where it goes.

I think dueling in this is more like the old days where nobles had duels to settle disputes and less like kids just playing around.

I just watched it on JPAnime! Been using it for 8 yrs now every anime you can think of movie or show the day they come out in there county

Probaly like other great gundam/mecka it will slowly go from sweet to hell march in a very entenaining way but without the prologue i would have doubt
