I know your Dad is still working hard, guiding you on your adventures and inspiring you daily with reminders of things he said and the way he did things. I love that Gary is present throughout this video even though he passed away. You can feel him in every bag, bracket and roof panel you put up and it’s beautiful.
That whole building is a legacy to Gary….its the skills and work ethic he instilled in his family that has allowed them to keep his memory alive. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Your Dad's vision is coming to fruition, that is a testament to his ingenuity and your dedication! I remember watching your whole family working together to raise your individual bedrooms from the desert floor, how your dad engineered the roofs, and y'all just, made it happen! I have really enjoyed following your journey, and hope to follow it for many more years to come. 400 videos? Wow! Been watching for maybe 10 years, subscribed a couple years back. Love watching all the construction you have completed as a family, and how much love and laughter you share! Missing the other siblings and kids, but respect they have busy lives. That backpack is beautiful!
I'm supposed to mention backpack. We've been watching since you posted the full music studio build. I think we've gone back and watched every episode. Love seeing your Dad's final design coming together. You can feel his presence even now.

“Backpack” I can’t remember how long it’s been I know it’s been so good to see the family grow and change and continue to be a pleasure to watch. I remember the remodel of the kitchen the selling of tarp from one of the buildings, the 3d shop, out door showers and the ground breaking of the water drilling. I cried learning of Gary’s passing and felt so good to have felt apart of the family and community and to be honest this is my 1st ever comment I made on TH-cam 🎉

Backpack. I’ve been watching for quite a while. Several years ago I found your channel and was curious about the whole process. I lost my dad a year ago today. Tonight I’m in the ER with my mom. Our parents and spouses will always give us inspiration.
I see my backpack!! It is so me!! I've been watching for quite a few years and really miss seeing all the others. And of course, we all miss the leader of the clan. Gary was very smart and loved all his family. Thanks for all the videos. Love to all from Central Oklahoma.

Im pretty sure the bubble crete separates because you're making it with too much water. If it was thicker the bubbles wouldn't rise as much.
My wife, who loves unconventional building methods discovered your channel many years ago. A great deal of the pandemic was spent watching a BACKPACK full of happy videos of your family. This is Gary's best roof yet. You are doing a grand job figuring out what Gary imagined.

I found your channel 15 years ago. I’m sure glad I did. I’m 69 I have a half acre of land on the coast of California in a little town called Watsonville. Started to build my Homestead and was injured in MVA. Now I’m in a wheelchair. I look forward to your videos whenever they are posted. Thank you.

You are an amazing family! I was injured in 2007 and bedridden so I took to TH-cam. I began watching your channel when you started airing, it’s amazing watching everything from your videos the growth, the love, the adventures. I do miss Gary but his spirit is so infectious it is in his children and his homestead. Keep going and you are so lucky to have each other.

I started watching 5 years ago when I retired and was very ill for a couple of years. I found your site and it helped me weather difficult days , as I binge watched it from the beginning when the children were small . I miss seeing Gary's smile and humor. Backpack. I’ve only been following 4 years. I’m so pleased the boys get on so well together in working and sorting problems out. It’s lovely to see friends and other families involving themselves in the building. You guys are doing so well I love watching your channel.

Hi guys! I have really missed seeing you on a more frequent basis. You all should be so proud of what you are accomplishing! Great work! Just a thought but if I were you I would find some way to plug up everyone of those concrete blocks on top so you don't get bees, wasp, hornets making a nest in them. Just a thought.
