In regards to Giant's blood, in POE1 you can roll "Reduced attribute requirements" which might be the interaction they are looking for to make Giant's blood work. Although the level being a part of that changes it potentially quite dramatically.
I see a Dreamcore PoE2 video, I click. Also, I need this deep insight on the keystones from the MECHANICAL MASTERMIND. edit: aww thanks for the shout-out dude
The best "leak" for me will be on day 1, when I'll open my stash and to (in order): Unique tab, Currency tab, Fragment, Map tab. The seer ammount if info, that you can get just by doing that is rather fucking huge.
It looks fine. Unless PoE 2 also has 2 ground degens, 3 build bricking mods, 4 on-death effects and 5times monster EHP multiplier on every sencond map you run...
If anything, reducing player power lets them tune mob power downwards too. With the amount of immortality and, more specifically, the TYPE of immortality you can reach in PoE 1, I always kind of understood why mobs and degen mechanics are the way they are, even if I massively dislike it.
i wonder how many high end rare or uniq melee weapons we get (like maata's teaching or the dark seer) that are caster. I think the giants blood might be a limiting factor. For example in POE1 i might wanna dual wield something like a queen's decree or simply a +5 lightning spell staff
Are there still Dual-wielding bonuses? Two-handed weapon Dual-Wielding bonuses? Also: (probably a dumb idea) - "Mind over Matter" all dmg taken from mana, 50% reduced mana regeneration, - "Eldrich battery" Use Energy Shield instead of Mana - "Eternal Youth" Life Recovery from life Flasks applies to ES instead - "Oasis" - 2 flask slots, 50% more recovery from Flasks Int stacker (or mana/ES) Just gonna have some sort of Flask recovery. which i guess, since you can just choose your Attribute nodes, go Dex class and pick up flask recovery nodes? Now.. what are you gonna use the leftover life for?
I hadn't considered that Giantsblood would double the level requirement too! Thank you! I was low-key panicking that this would just be soooo busted, thank you for sending some Dreamcore packaged rationality my way
8:52 flavor text for Whispers of Doom “Your grandchildren will scream at the memory of what I said today.” 😮 Better to have this as a keystone in POE1, too. Stupid anoint.
10:44 “Weapon requirement”… perhaps it means more than just the requirements *to use the weapon*, but instead apply more broadly? If a gem requires a 2h mace… does it now require TWO 2h maces to use?
I have actually always thought why couldn’t they double the requirement and enable you to wield two handed weapon and shield, I am glad they finally did!
10:05 i remember an interview where they mentioned that dual-wielding (holding two weapons at the same time) was not in PoE2? Did they repel that? Or maybe I dreamt it?
Some trigger gems have an "energy cost" that scales with the supported skill's cast time, so Whispers of Doom with a trigger skill won't be such a no-brainer.
Do you have a source? That's the first I'm hearing of that mechanic. Doom in PoE1 was simply a curse effect gain over time reward for self casting a curse, it didn't have an activation delay
@@dreamcore_gg Focused Curse Support; "Supports curse skills, causing them to curse enemies more quickly after being cast. Cursed Zones from supported skills erupt after 30% reduced delay". Implies there is currently some inherent delay to curses activating in the area you cast them. Edit: Despair; "curse all enemies in an area after a short delay"
@@neppity5887 Appreciate this response! If it worked like Doomsday as @blvcksvn said, it could be a base 1s activation delay, which would be 2s with the keystone, that's quite the delay but likely worth it for self casting on tanky targets
The more I watch POE2 content, the more I become bored of the direction the game took. I just can't see myself firing multiple abilities to kill a white mob.
I can bet my decade old account, that there will be ZERO button builds still. What folks like you are forgetting, is that, while it have "2" in it, it's still "PoE". (And for the love of Kalandra's unplucked ass - we haven't seen a FRAME of even lvl 50 character, let alone endgame builds. And in 9/10 cases - the gear was bad at best. So calm your bussy lips and "see you Friday")
That's the thing, you have to take Poe 2 as a new game, not a direct continuity of Poe 1. It's also the reason why they have been separated. A ccomplete rework for a new experience. It might be not your thing, indeed.
@@BulaRotMG where the fuck did you get the information that you need to pay for it lol. From the begining it was announced, it was said that it still will be f2p.

🤣
Same lmao I spent 30 seconds looking like wtf, that can't be, then I finally realized they were handles xD
Me too! And the look was totally working for him
Came here to say this
46 days
And is required to pay to play the early acess? I think i ll pass
46 days, hopefully we will be able to get 1 act for the beta, or there will be a small delay of 2 years for the second act

Whispers of Doom used to be a keystone in poe1
It did indeed, a long time ago!

longest 46 days ever.

Two-hander in One hand!!! It is my dream since Neverwinter Nights 2 where I was able to get 2 two-handed weapons with monkey grip trait
Zero chance Giants Blood is including level requirement, that's a Japanese mis translation happening here for sure.
Giants Blood for sure, been waiting for something like monkey grip from final fantasy tactics to be implemented into PoE. Wish finally come true.
As my bro says, use staff with shields for block on block, easy blockily block block
don't take it personal, but i think that your video is better without facecam
If that keystone doubled level requirement as well it would be such a shame. :|
yup, only a couple of years and we will be able to test those
Dual strike echoforge and voidforge hype 😂
Jesus, imagine dual wielding 2 2000pdps axes
uniq 2 handed weapons that have no level req :)
Titans grip in Poe. Noice.
what a bullshit
Eternal youth + Chaos innoculation. None of the downsides and it allows you to use life flask with CI.
The downside would be that you no longer have energy shield recharge
combine it with flask finder, assuming she keeps that stuff. It''ll be cool.
Curses in POE2 have an activation dellay, similar to how old Doomsday curses worked.

Not super excited about Notables having negative components to them aswell.
Whispers of doom is a keystone in poe2
Prognesis isn't build defining. Most builds can just wear it and win with no other investment.
What is the definition of 'build defining' to you?

ruthless sequel still looks boring
