Although I am not knitting the KAL with you, I enjoy watching your videos to learn more about knitting. I am glad that you are sharing information about your knitting book library and you stating what is of particular interest in each book.

Long time ago I found Arenda Holladay’s tutorials very randomly and then I found you later. You mentioned in this video that she is your mentor. You two are my the most favorite knitting experts. 😊👍 What a coincidence.

I agree w/ your recommendation for the Montse Stanley book. I was fortunate enough to pick up an earlier book by her "The Handknitter's Handbook" at a yard sale for a quarter. It was a bit above my level when I got it, but it has become a go to book for me when I need to really understand a technique.

I liked your comment about "splitting yarn" being a 'knitter problem'...not a 'yarn problem'.... therefore, pointy needles can be used for any yarn. Learn to use them correctly. Thanks, Suzanne!

Great tip, Suzanne! You mentioned for us to continue checking gauge throughout a project! Thanks!

Ann Budd needs to make a handy tool in a 4" gauge version. I love the idea of the one inch on but usually I can't get accurate gauge for socks with only 1 inch. I can see how it would be handy for quick gauge reference though :)

Right. It is not really for determining gauge, but for spot checking. Happy knitting.

I know what you mean about thinking one thing and saying another. Also, after watching you for just a little while I think I would classify you as a knitting "scientist". :)

Ah, yes, scientists. Lots of experimentation. Thanks and happy knitting.
