  • Nestled between North and South Beach, Mid-Beach is made up of three distinct neighborhoods: Oceanfront, Bayshore, and Nautilus.
Oceanfront, better known as Millionaire’s Row, is the area on the peninsula’s stretch from 26th to 63rd streets, along the Atlantic Ocean and Indian Creek. This area was largely developed in the 1950’s and 60’s with a focus on Miami Modern architecture like Morris Lapidus’ Fontainebleau and Eden Rock Hotels.
Today, Millionaire’s Row is experiencing a renaissance of sorts, with redevelopment of older buildings, giving way to new, ultra-luxury high-rises like 57 Ocean and Faena House, soon to be joined by The Perigon, with delivery in Summer 2025. These complement prestigious addresses like Mei, Blue and Green Diamond, The Bath Club and Beach House 8.
There’s also a restaurant scene tucked away in the condo and hotel buildings in Mid-Beach; from the high-end restaurants at the Fontainbleau and Nobu Hotels, to the locally-owned eateries like Hoshi & Sushi at the Carriage House, Lola Grill at Oceanside Plaza, Silan at The Alexander, Louie’s at Palm House - so many to choose from!
On the west bank of Indian Creek, the Bayshore neighborhood changes the scenery to single-family homes, with ultra-luxury mansions built around the Miami Beach Golf Course, Biscayne Bay and canals facing east to Millionaire’s Row and west to the Sunset Islands. From the more modest homes in this area to the mega-mansions, prices range between $2M and $30M
Shopping in Mid-Beach is predominately on the commercial corridor Along 41st Street, with major supermarkets just a short drive away in South Beach and North Beach.
The Nautilus neighborhood just north of Bayshore has as its major attributes its proximity to the Mount Sinai Medical center, the wide open bay views along the bay-front North Bay Road properties, and the mix of single and multi-family properties on the dry lots. Architectural styles sway between modern and mediterranean; if you’re looking for a home or townhome on Miami Beach, Nautilus is a great place to start. Check out the new Ritz Carlton Residences on the northern end of Meridian Avenue.
Mid-Beach is the perfect compromise of luxury and convenience, whether you prefer oceanfront, golf course, canal or bay front; this Miami Beach neighborhood has a lot to offer!
