Probably because she's an actress holding a fake gun. Most people may not know gun safety, but they know trigger is bad. Then again maybe she's stupid. I've seen a picture of a woman holding a slandering gun by its base with a caption saying something like 'Women can be smart too'. I mean, we can all question things deeply. After a certain point we're just hurting ourselves.

Patty Hearst gets a lot of points for later starring in a very funny movie about terrorists who kidnap a famous movie star and force her to carry out crimes. (Cecil B. Demented, by John Waters). I remember reading an interview with John Waters that wasn't long after Patty Hearst got released from prison. He said that his dream would be to make a movie with Patty Hearst. I laughed so hard at the audaciousness of that and then he did it. And she was great.
