I used to wear NB classic sneakers when I was younger, now I will only buy cushioning shoes, from my running shoes to casual shoes. If I remember correctly, I think Adidas has these classic sneakers with updates squishy midsole foam which made it so comfortable to wear, the same foam used in their running shoes.
I’ll have to look into them. I have used a few pairs of adidas running shoes in the past and wasn’t a huge fan of them. But it’s been many years, so I’m sure they have improved by now.
I've never had any issues with a neck strap apron. But I can see how some may find it uncomfortable or restricting. But it is made from the same awesome Martexin sale cloth that I love from the FNT Waxed Truckers!
Once you've had crossback, you never go back! Honestly though, neck strap aprons are tolerable if only worn for a short period. Crossbacks are def superior in design though
@@frakismaximus3052 I'm just a weekend warrior! haha. If I were doing some real carpentry, I am sure I would have shoulder straps. But for the home projects I do, this is going to be perfect for me. If I am really doing a bug project, I will swap out into my Tellason Coverall Jacket (chore coat).
The belt is really nice. Pretty supple, yet thick full grain leather. I have both the All American Stretch and the Everyday Stretch. I really love both pairs, but I wood chops the All American due to the lower amount of stretch. They are still very comfortable, but I feel they will be a bit more durable. Yeah.. for US $79 that apron should be crossback, which i find you can wear all day very comfortably. I wouldn't pay more than a 1/4 of that for a neck strap apron. Flint and tinder needs to do better research.
A quick search only shows a few waxed cross back aprons. None seem to be American made or of good quality. I am sure there are some out there to be found with a little bit of looking around. Filson also sells an apron similar to the FNT for $125. I will do some more digging and see if I find anything comparable with a cross back and do a review of that in the future. And possibly an A/B with the FNT.

Nice. But I’d never enjoy using an apron with a neck strap. I always go for shoulder straps.

Do you have any suggestions of cross back aprons I can check out after I work my way through this HB haul?
Awesome Vid, going to get the FNT Belt. Have you tried the All American Denim? thinking of adding that also

@@jeffgrantMEDIAadmittedly, all mine are vintage 😅. However, Carhartt makes a good one, Bluecut is worth checking out and for the cyclist, Park Tool.
@@frakismaximus3052 I may have to check out Carhartt. I sold Carhartt for like 15 years…. In an other life.
