- Left brakeline got stuck to some webbing on the underside of the D-bag and pulled the bag with me. Luckily I threw my first reserve just in time for it not to rupture. Landed safely in the water with rescueboat picking me up just seconds after I touched the water.
Legend goes he is still under his reserve floating towards the water.
nice pull - more fun with a steerable beamer 🥰
That's an expensive roundy jump:)
So paragliders are being used for hop and pops now? Pretty cool and you handled the malfunction well
Scary video! Well done. What happened? How was the bag released? You were very quick to react and deploy the rescue!!! How did you get extracted from water?
Thank you! A line got snagged on the D-bag and the wing wouldn`t deploy. I got a safe landing in the water, with rescue boat ready to pick me up just seconds after I touched the water.
.... just for my understanding, der Kumpel im Heli hätte das Paket länger / fester halten können oder?
No he couldn`t, a line got stuck to the D-bag. It was my own fault that it happened, and Im just happy I throwed my reserve as fast as I did :-)
Was the water cold?
How was that supposed to go?
Someone is soooooo fired !
Terrible idea. Id be shocked if it worked.
If I was a helicopter pilot there is no way in hell I would allow that.
The only d-bag that I saw was the guy letting the deployment bag go.
Windy wind 😮💨
I kept waiting for your shoes getting wet...................; but it did never happen.......................................
Je ne comprends pas l'utilité de cette manœuvre a par risqué sa vie...si ta un problème de réserve tu fais quoi du bat des ailes,
There's two reserves and they're over water so pretty safe! y'a 2 réserves etc sur le lac donc...
Faiô 😂😂😂😂
Ohhh, trust me... it could've gone Much worse. You were damned lucky, and have used up Several of your nine lives.
(1263 jumps from 1963 to 1981; USPA D license, SCR, SCS, NSCR, Master rigger, for starters)
how was that lucky... he got dropped
@@idanghelber8282 reserve tangled around his leg? reserve going into the lines of the not deployed canopy?
@@funkylosik thats the reason he had 2 reserves each up to 31m/s
I hope as a master rigger you recognise that his main is a paraglider, not a parachute.
Although he did end up parachuting rather than paragliding.
@@MrReasonabubbleI apologize for my thoughtless answer-i didn´t know that a USPA Master Rigger do Paragliding d-bags as well 🤔
